Change for the better

Christian opened his eyes slowly and looked around the area he was looking at and was still trying to remember what happened. Until his memory stopped at the incident that left him covered in blood in stomach because was stabbed by a man he didn't know at all. Because he wanted to kill someone who had been fighting.

'Am I in heaven now? Is this what life is like after death? "So, I can meet daddy if I'm in a different realm from mommy," muttered Christian, who was currently speaking silently to himself because thought he was in a different realm after his life on earth.

However, he immediately turned towards the door that had just opened and realized that was still alive because saw a man with a tall and large body walking over and talking.

"You are already conscious. I will call a doctor to examine you," said the man who was the head of the mafia.

Draco Edison had wanted to see the condition of the man who had risked his life to save him. Now I felt very relieved when I saw that the man was conscious. When opened the doorknob, heard a soft voice from the man on the bed, whose life he had investigated so that could end up in prison.

So, we already know what caused the man to end up in prison and intend to get him out of there after he recovers.

"Sir, am I still in the world? So, I haven't died after being stabbed with a knife until I was covered in blood? Why did you even save me? Even though I was tired of living and wanted to meet my father." Christian spoke softly while holding his stomach which felt painful and also seemed to be wincing in pain.

Draco Edison didn't leave the room and now turned around and walked over to approach the man who looked like he no longer had the will to live because had been slandered by his own brother.

He now landed his body on the chair to the left of the treatment bed. "Did you save me because you wanted to die on purpose?"

Christian was just silent and had no intention of answering. He doesn't want anyone else to know about his very tragic life because of the actions of his own brother which made him rot in prison and lose his future.

However, he immediately blinked and was surprised when heard the baritone voice of the man who was covered in tattoos on his body.

"Don't worry because I will repay you for your actions in saving me from death. I will get you out of here and punish your brother who trapped you. Do you want your brother to die? Isn't it difficult for me to do that?" Draco Edison currently took out his cell phone from his trouser pocket.

He was given the freedom to do anything in prison, including giving orders to his subordinates with just one phone call.

At this moment, Christian was very surprised and at the same time confused about what he had just heard. In fact, he immediately shuddered in horror when heard the man baritone voice giving orders when calling.

"I want you to finish off the man named Winston Skyler right now!" Draco Edison, who had just closed mouth and was still talking to one of his men, was now looking at the man who was trying to get up from his lying position.

"Master, wait!" Christian was truly horrified by what he was seeing and thought that the man in front of him was not just anyone.

"Why? Do you want to kill your brother with your own hands?" asked Draco Edison who was currently frowning and returning to talking to the man on the other end of the phone. "Just a moment, I'll call you again later for further orders. Don't do anything before I give the order!"

He got up and helped Christian Skyler who was about to sit down. "Why don't you just lie down because you haven't recovered from your wounds. You had quite deep stitches and were unconscious for a day and a night."

Right now, Christian doesn't want to look weak in front of the man he guesses is a great person because easily ordered people to kill his brother, but that's not what he wants because hopes that the murder charges committed will be dropped and his good name cleared.

"I don't want you to kill my brother. So, please stop your orders." He was currently thinking about asking the man in front of him for help, but was still putting together the right sentences and wanted to know how he would respond.

At this time, Draco Edison felt increasingly confused about what Christian Skyler wanted, but only nodded his head to fulfill the man's wishes. "Okay, if that's what you want. Then, do you intend to let the brother who slandered you go free and rot in prison like this?"

Christian immediately shook his head and coincidentally everything that was in his brain now wanted to be conveyed and hoped to find a way out of the complicated problem he was facing. "I just want my good name to be clean and my brother to be punished for his actions in killing my father."

"I also wanted to pick up my mother so she wouldn't stay at the Skyler family's house because was sure that would only feel suffering when was there." Christian has been visited by his mother once a month.

Even though the mother looks fine, as a son, you can see that the face of the woman who gave birth to him is very gloomy and must be depressed living in the Skyler family.

However, he had no other choice because it was impossible to let his mother live alone without facilities from the Skyler family. Until now, couldn't stop thinking about the way of thinking of the man he considered great.

However, he looked around to make sure no one heard his conversation. "You will easily get freedom and also clear your good name, but before that, you have to help me. I will get you out of here quietly and you will temporarily stay at my place."

Christian is now increasingly confused by what the middle-aged man means. Of course, his mind was now focused on the sentence of escaping from prison and made him immediately shake his head in disagreement.

"You mean to make me escape from prison and become a fugitive? This is not what I want, sir." When Christian intended to explain what he really wanted, didn't do so because was interrupted by the baritone voice of a man whose true identity didn't know.

"I know what you want, but listen to what I say!" Draco Edison is currently silencing Christian mouth so as not to upset him when his words are interrupted.

Moreover, so far no one has dared to interrupt his conversation because they have always feared and respected him. However, he tried to be patient with a man who didn't know anything about him.

Christian was forced to nod in resignation and wanted to know what the man was actually planning. So, he is currently using his sense of hearing well so that doesn't miss anything.

Now Draco Edison began to tell him what he would do to the man. He's just still hiding his plans to marry his daughter. "You have to help me to protect my daughter because there are many enemies who want her death."

"I will take you out of here and live at my place for a while. During your stay there, you will learn a lot about everything related to protecting yourself and also how to gather strength to destroy other people. I will turn you into a great man and no longer weak like now."

Draco Edison was currently looking at Christian as if he was absorbing his words and saw that the expression on his face which previously seemed like didn't agree with his plan, had now become sparkling and excited. "So, you won't be easily destroyed by other people. When you become a great person, you can easily take revenge on your brother."

"You can even do whatever you want, including making your mother live happily because you will have lots of money. Of course I will pay you handsomely for protecting my daughter. So, you will have the power and money to take revenge on your brother." Draco Edison paused his words, to see how the man who he thought had to be changed from weak to strong would react.

"Isn't this a wonderful way?" Draco Edison, who ended his words, now stretched out hand because didn't want to think long or waste time.

"Are you willing to do it and change your bad fate for the better? Or do you choose to stay here and accept your bad fate?" asked Draco Edison who was now waiting for an answer from the man who he could guess would immediately agree.

Christian Skyler reflex, feeling interested in the man plan, immediately reached out his hand to shake his hand. "I agree, sir. I don't want to forever be a weak man who is considered useless by my own brothers. I will take revenge after becoming a stronger person. So, I accept your offer."

Instantly Draco Edison smiled and patted Christian on the shoulder. "The right choice. You will become a great and strong man after staying at my place together with my trusted people who will train you later. Get ready because tonight, I will get you out of this prison and you will open a new life in my base."

"Yes, sir. I will study well at your place. Thank you for helping me. I will not forget your service." Christian Skyler currently feels his life will change for the better. In fact, his enthusiasm for life has returned to life after he is optimistic that will be able to clear his good name one day and put the brother who slandered him in prison.
