"You don't need to go alone when I am here."
The biker spoke, making Garaine smile.
"Lucia!" Garaine grinned, as she rushed to her best friend. "How did you know that I am here?"
"Tsk," clicking her tongue, Lucia removed her helmet.
Her long brownish curls hung a bit above her waist. Adjusting her biker's jacket, she ran her long, slender fingers through her hair, brushing it backwards. She sharply glanced at the men with scepticism evident in her eyes before returning her gaze to her friend.
"The locket of the chain, which you are wearing around your neck, has a tracker on it," Lucia arched her brows, shrugging her shoulders
"Lucia?" Garaine poked her best friend's shoulder blade slowly, expecting a reply from her. "Are you still angry with me?""I am riding the bike," Lucia uttered in a cold, serious tone, making her best friend pout.Since they had left the hotel, Lucia didn't speak a single word. Half of the bike ride was silent since Lucia avoided every single word uttered by Garaine. Soon they reached Garaine Jones's residence."Hm." Lucia hummed, telling Garaine that they had reached their destination.Garaine got down from the bike. *Flashback*The cold December night was tucked under the black night sky. The coldness reached into the bones of a person, making it impossible for them to stand outside the warm house without warm and comfy clothes. The snow seemed to grow over the windows, while the streets had very fewer people.Lucia Adams and Garaine Jones just finished their working hours at the Rainbow Fairy Home."Oh, Lucia! It's so cold," Garaine said, chattering her teeth. "I am gonna die because of this cold.""Such a little idiot you are!" Lucia playfully smiled, shaking her head. "Put your hands inside the pockets of your jacket. Don't keep them hanging at your sides." *Continuation of Flashback* "How's it?" Lucia asked, hanging the last star-shaped small lantern. "Amazing!" Garaine smiled widely, hanging the blue crepe papers for the party. Getting down from the stool, Lucia rubbed her palms against each other, getting rid of the invisible dust. Putting her hands on her waist, she gazed at the decorations. "Finally, it looks like a party house," Garaine grinned, putting her hand around Lucia. "The kids will like the decorations for sure," the taller girl spoke, letting out a deep breath. The Mafia's Not So Fluffy Romance Chapter 13
"Dad?" Weylin slowly opened the door, entering his father's office."Hm," Blake hummed, going through the last file. "So you are here. Take a seat."Taking a seat, the young master gazed at his father, feeling uneasy. He expected that his father would scold him or give him some punishment for sneaking out. But all he was witnessing was a calm Blake Turner."So…" Blake Turner closed the cover of the file he was checking before he gently put it on the table. "I want you to merge your business with mine.""What?" Weylin's forehead wrinkled into a frown. "I am sorry, dad. I can't. I already told you that I don't wanna inherit your business. It also indicates that I don't wanna merge my b
Leaving the room, Shadow was walking ahead of Weylin Turner. On the other hand, Weylin was deeply immersed in his thoughts. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't join the dots to make out how his father was related to The Rainbow Fairy Home."Young master, I am taking my leave," Shadow uttered, stopping in her tracks. Her words pulled him out of his thoughts."Huh?" Weylin asked in a low tone, confusion evident in his eyes.
The Diamond Casino, one of the most famous casinos of England, was decorated with bright lights and lavishly looking interiors, making it look like it truly deserved its name. Today the leader of The Black Panther was supposed to have a gambling match with the leader of The Devils at that particular casino. People in black suits surrounded the casino, from both inside and outside. Half part of the casino was blocked, keeping a no-entry board to keep the normal gamblers and VIPs away from the area. Since Diamond Casino was one of the famous casinos, Blake Turner couldn't stop its activities just because they were supposed to have a gambling match. So in the evening, Blake Turner's bodyguards completely blocked half of the casino, especially the VIP lot while other bodyguards still guarded the entire casino. There was gossiping and chattering all over the casino regarding the changing environment of the casino that day. "Did you see the change in the air?" "Of course, you idio

But looking into the situation, he couldn't keep his mind at peace. It has been such a long time and neither Shadow nor Weylin are showing up. Blake thought, clenching his fists. Should I just go and check on the situation?Making up to check on the situation, Blake Turner was about to turn towards the door when the door suddenly opened."Weylin?" Blake was taken aback.
