Chapter 52
The sun was yet to bloom on the horizon. There was a nip in the air, ascertaining that it was about the time of sunrise. The chirping birds, sitting on the sunshade, sang melodiously.

Two people were sleeping peacefully in the drawing-room. Weylin squirmed a bit, bothered by the loud noise made by the birds. He turned around, closing his ears, expecting to continue his sweet sleep. No matter how much he kept tossing and turning, the sharp chirping of the birds pierced his eardrums. Finding it impossible to sleep, he opened his eyes.

Huh? What am I doing on the couch? Weylin thought blinking, looking bemused. Suddenly, the incidents of the previous day flashed in his mind. Damn! I fell asleep while waiting for her. Speaking about her, where is she?

As he was about to get up, his fingers touched the warm fabric of the blanket. His brows were brought together while his forehead wrinkled as he frowned.

"A blanket? I clearly remember not taking any blanket." Weylin's eyes widened up
