The room was dimly lit, the weak beam of light casting eerie shadows along the peeling wallpaper. A figure sat in a worn chair at the center, their face hidden behind a cold, emotionless mask. "Did you capture them?" he demanded, his voice dripping with impatience as a malicious smirk danced at the corner of his lips. The question hung in the air, filled with a foreboding sense of dread. The man's interrupter trembled slightly, intimidated by the intensity in his eyes and the aura of power that seemed to surround him.

"No, sir," he stammered, his voice betraying his fear. "It was a bad timing. Ethan was there, I couldn't stop him. He seemed to have uncovered something. He's investigating, sir." His words were laced with trepidation, trembling on the edge of revealing more than intended.
