"Are you done yelling, Clarissa?" he demanded firmly, his tone remaining calm despite the storm brewing within him.

"Stop getting me mad. How can you be so cruel?" she responded sadly from the other end of the conversation. Her voice carried a mix of hurt and confusion as she struggled to comprehend his sudden departure. "You never told me you would be moving out. How can you do such a thing?"
