"The chairman isn't a selfish man, but most people misunderstand his good heart for wickedness. I hope you don't have such an impression of him." Ethan absorbed his grandfather's words, contemplating the complexities of the situation.

However, before he could respond or delve deeper into the matter, Clinton dropped a bombshell of a question that left Ethan momentarily stunned. The neutral tone now replaced with surprise and uncertainty, Ethan replied.

"Enough of that. What are you going to do about Claire? Should we arrange a divorce?"

"She must have told you about it, right?" he demanded, searching for confirmation.
