Chapter 31 - Laugh of Death

As they watched the DD pill patients, the room door opened and revealed two patients coming in. James and Dave turned their faces, staring at the entrance.

"Isn't it too early for them to arrive?" asked James.

"Since the disease spread, no one can predict when the patients will arrive," Dave replied.

The middle-aged doctor approached the two patients, their hands and feet shackled by tight ropes attached to the bed.

He conducted a brief check-up, such as heart rate, eyeballs, and pain sensitivity in the hands and feet. Even though they were giggling endlessly, they still had painful expressions when Dave pinched them.

"They seem to be in the early stages. Put them in the seventh room," Dave said.
