CHAPTER -7 Call Kay

Aiden chuckled. Aaron and Vincent's plan was really cunning, but Aiden did not feel afraid at all. Instead, he was more challenged to beat the two of them.

"You don't have to worry. I'll take care of all this," Aiden said soothingly because he knew Arianna was concerned about the situation.

"But, how?" asked Ariana. She still couldn't believe Aiden, especially since it was his first day on the job.

Ariana thought. "What is the thing that I can rely on from that man?"

"You don't need to know, but I assure you that we will be able to get an autograph from Sprefix Company." Aiden spoke quite calmly.

"How can that be? Do you have acquaintances there?" Ariana was completely confused by Aiden's behavior. 

For Ariana, Aiden's words were impossible.

"You don't need to panic and worry about it. I know you're panicked and worried because you're afraid of getting fired. Me too, but don't worry!”

“We do it both. I'm sure we'll get a signature from Sprefix Company. You don't need to know the ways that I'll do them.” Aiden answered firmly.

Ariana didn't know how else to respond. She just hopes that Aiden's words are true. 

Ariana is just afraid and worried that she will be fired. Even though she's only been an apprentice for one month, it will be funny if she is fired because she can't get an autograph from Sprefix Company.

Another question is, what will other people say about her? What if she applied for another company?

Of course, she will be rejected by many companies and ridiculed by others because she is considered incompetent to work. In fact, the task that was given is very difficult. 

She will become unemployed again, which will make it difficult for her parents again. The atmosphere is quiet for a moment. Ariana and Aiden didn't speak at all. 

Ariana was still grappling with her worries, while Aiden was figuring out how to get an autograph from the Sprefix Company. He was figuring out which friends he should ask for help from. After much thought, Aiden found a friend who seemed to be able to help him.

"I'll be right back," Aiden said. Then he stood up from his seat and just left Arianna alone.

That made Arianna confused. She still doubted Aiden could be a profitable co-worker for her, but they would get the autograph. Moreover, stories have circulated that many competent employees are fired just because they can't get a signature of cooperation with the Sprefix Company.

At that time, Arianna could only surrender to God. She hoped that God would help her.

After Aiden looked for friends he would contact, he intended to contact Kay. Kay was Aiden's former subordinate. 

That time, Kay is the richest man. He immediately looked for Kay's contact. Then, he called Kay. 

Kay picked up the first ring. Kay greeted. "Hello, Lord Aiden!”

"Why are you still calling me, Lord Aiden? Your level is now higher than mine.” 

"I should call you Lord Kay. Not you!" replied Aiden.

"Ah! No! Why do you say that?" 

Kay still showed his respect. It could be seen from the way that he talked to Aiden.

"I am so happy that you call me. I can hardly believe you call me." Kay showed his happiness.

"How are you? It's been a long time since we've heard from each other."

Aiden smiled. Aiden did not expect that his former subordinates would not forget him, even though he is a rich man now. 

"I'm fine. How are you?” 

“How does it feel to be the richest person? It must be very fun, right?"

Kay chuckled. 

"Yes, it's like this. You must also know how real rich people live.” 

“There's a lot of work to be done, even the monthly tax bill is huge. Hahaha." Kay made jokes. 

Then he laughed loudly. Aiden also laughed in a low and light voice.

Then Aiden added, "You're right. No one knows the real life of the rich."

"Ah! We're even rambling wildly. By the way, what do you need to call me about?"

Aiden stopped laughing. Then he started to take a breath and was about to start his story. "Do you know any information about Sprefix Company?"

"Yes, I know that. What's wrong?"

"Can you tell me a little about that company? I've heard it's the biggest company in town," Aiden inquired.

He really hopes that he will get a lot of information from his former subordinates, especially now that Kay's influence is very large. Kay was curious. 

So, he asked. "Why are you suddenly curious about that company?"

Then he asked again, "Are you in that city now? What are you doing there?"

Aiden took a deep breath. "It's too long to tell it now.” 

“I just want to know about the Sprefix Company. Can we just focus on that for now?" Aiden tried to focus on that problem only.

At that time, the main thing was to get the company's signature. If he doesn't feel sorry for Arianna and doesn't want to prove to Aaron that he can, Aiden doesn't want to do that task and will let himself be fired.

After all, he doesn't really intend to apply to that place either! He came to that place because Lord Osrich ordered him to.

"Ah, well. What do you really want to know about the company?" Aiden's friends began to understand Aiden's current situation.

"I'm on some tasks. One of my responsibilities is to obtain the signature of Sprefix Company."

"I heard that getting a partnership with that company is very difficult. Right now I don't have any power, and I'm thinking of you."

"You have everything you need right now to complete this task." Aiden spoke quite calmly. He really hopes that his friend will be willing to help him this time.

"I see. Then I'll buy the company for you," he replied very casually.

Aiden didn't expect that his friend's response would be so enthusiastic. The man was very happy that his friend was very good to him, even though they had not communicated for a long time.

"I really appreciate what you want to do for me, but it doesn't seem necessary," Aiden replied in the end. He felt bad if he had to bother him like that.

"I just need to get an autograph."

"That's it? Actually, if I need to buy the company, that's fine too."

"It doesn't bother me if it's for you. I'll do anything for you, Lord Aiden."

"I'm very grateful, but it's not necessary. I just want to ask for your help contacting the owner of the company and asking him to sign the cooperation document." 

"Only that. That thing has helped me a lot." Aiden explained.

"Okay if that's what you want. I'll find out about the company first, then make him sign your cooperation document."

"This is very easy for me. You don't have to worry about it anymore," replied Aiden's friend very confidently. 

He is very rich now. So, there is nothing that he can't do. Something difficult will be very easy when he handles it.

Aiden smiled in satisfaction. Finally, he has solved this problem with the help of his friend. He is sure that Aaron and Vincent will be very surprised to find out that he has successfully completed the task.

"Thank you very much for wanting to help me!" said Aiden very sincerely.

"You don't need to say that. You are the one who helped me when I was in a difficult situation."

"Now it's my turn to repay all of that. I will do everything if you need anything." Aiden's friend also spoke very sincerely. 

He doesn't forget the good deeds that Aiden has done for him.

"Okay. Let me know when you've spoken to Sprefix Company's superiors!”

"I'm going to that city, and I'll see you later. I've been wanting to see you all this time, and today it seems like God is planning to make us meet."

"Maybe. Okay, I have to get back to work. I'll hang up.”

"Okay."

Then, Aiden ended the call. He felt very happy to get the help. The good thing that he has done in the past is helping him now.
