CHAPTER -9 The Annoying Manager

Ariana was still regulating her breath so as not to be angry with the manager. She didn't want her plans to fall through because of this, especially since Aiden had already planned so much for that day. She didn't want to disappoint her co-worker.

"Don't mess with us! Quickly call the president right now!" Aiden spoke up this time.

The man was a little annoyed with the manager's attitude, which was getting more and more time-consuming.

"Hey! Please be patient for a moment, sir!”

“I'll let you in when your friend agrees to my request." Samuel replied very casually. 

This made Arianna even more angry. Ariana couldn't understand the man's lecherous thoughts.

"Come here! Come with me for a bit!" Samuel ordered. 

Then, he walked slightly away from Aiden. Ariana followed him. 

Samuel wanted to talk about the matter again and channel his passion. Samuel immediately touched Ariana's shoulder and prepared to take off Ariana's clothes one by one. 

He wanted to sleep with Ariana at that time. Ariana, who was uncomfortable being touched by her shoulder, immediately pushed Samuel's hand away, but Samuel's hand still touched Ariana's shoulder. 

Ariana struggled again and shouted, "Let go of me! I can walk alone!"

"Wow! Wow!”

“Are you brave now?" threatened Samuel.

"Yes. Facing a pervert like you must be brave." Ariana answered firmly.

"Please don't be so angry, Ariana! If that's the case, I don't even like it and won't let you in to meet the president."

Ariana rolled her eyes lazily. She was sick of Samuel's threats. 

She really regretted having to meet that bad guy. Though her plan was just about to succeed, but Ariana was still trying to be calm. 

She was trying to control her emotions. Maybe Samuel could help her meet the president.

"Don't beat around the bush! Quickly take me and my friends to your boss!" Ariana ordered.

"What is your real purpose for meeting the president?" asked Samuel haughtily. It seems he underestimated the purpose of Ariana and Aiden coming to the company where he worked.

"We've come to collaborate with the company for which we work. So this time, please help me meet him!” 

“I really..." Samuel's words quickly interrupted Ariana's.

"Wait! Wait!”

“Why are you talking so fast like that?" interrupted the manager quickly. This immediately made Arianna stop her speech.

"You haven't forgotten about my offer earlier, right? Do you forget it?" he asked.

Ariana furrowed her brows. She was so angry because Samuel really pissed her off.

"I forgot," Ariana replied lazily.

"Oh, you forgot. All right, I'll remind you one more time." The manager once again flashed his crooked smile.

"Listen carefully! If you want to see the president, then you should want to sleep with me first.” He repeated his offer.

“We're going to have some fun, honey." He teased at the end of the sentence.

Ariana almost threw up hearing that. She would not want to do what the man wanted, even though his desire was very strong to meet the president of the Sprefix Company, but she also had to be strong in defending her pride. 

She doesn't want to be toyed with by Samuel. She believed that Aiden could still help him, and Aiden had other plans.

"I'm not interested!" Ariana answered very firmly.

"Well. Okay.”

“That's your decision. You can't meet the president forever," said the manager, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

"Okay, I'll get out of here and do something else to be able to meet the president!”

“I'm not stupid to have to comply with your lecherous request!" said Ariana.

From a distance, Aiden continued to pay attention to all the behaviors of the two people. He could see Ariana's angry face from there. He didn't know what they were talking about, but Aiden felt very pity to Ariana and finally decided to come closer to them.

"Don't mind this man anymore! Come with me!" Aiden said.

Then he took Ariana's hand gently. Those things were surprised the girl.

"Where are you taking him?" asked Samuel. He smiled disdainfully at Aiden.

"You already have a way to meet my boss, huh?" challenged Samuel.

"Already there or not, I'm not interested in telling it to you!" Aiden sneered and took Arianna from the manager's presence.

"I warn you both. You will never be able to meet my boss if you don't go through me.” 

“If you don't believe me, try to prove it yourself! I'm sure you won't be able to do it." The manager smiled disdainfully.

Aiden didn't lose either. He smiled back at the manager. 

The man still doesn't know what power he will use to melt the heart of the Sprefix Company’s president. The manager was too confident. 

Aiden could have him fired from this company. Not long after that, Kay, who will help Aiden, came. He came to Aiden and gave him a smile.

"Look at this guy! He's trying to get in our way and wants to harass my friend.” 

"Can you get him fired from here?" Aiden asked his friend. 

He glanced disdainfully at the manager. Samuel just stared strangely at the man who had just arrived.

"Who is he until you are telling him to fire me from here? From his appearance, he looks very poor," said the manager very arrogantly.

Then he laughed. His laughter sounded very thunderous. He couldn't believe that Kay was such an influential person.

"Now you can laugh, but when I talk to your boss, then your career will just fall apart." Kay said it firmly. Kay also felt very annoyed with Samuel's attitude.

While the debate continued, Ariana was still wondering and asking in her heart. "Who was the man who had just arrived?”

“Was he able to help me and Aiden, or was it Aiden who told him to come and sort things out? Hopefully that man can really help me!"

"You have no idea that he is the richest man in the world. Anything he can do.”

“Getting you fired from this company is very easy for him!" Aiden spoke again. 

That time it was very firm. There was emphasis on every word he uttered.

"What did you say? The richest man in the world?" asked the manager dismissively. 

Then he looked at Kay from head to toe. He didn't see Kay wearing expensive brand names.

He only saw Kay wearing simple clothes, which meant she was poor. Then Samuel laughed again that time mockingly.

"Where is a rich person who looks like a poor person like this? Look at his clothes!” 

“No branded clothes!" He took hold of Kay's shirt, and then he took it off.

"What's this shirt made of? It's a cheap shirt!" He immediately laughed.

"If he is indeed the world's richest man who only pretends to be poor, then he should be one of the brothers of the country's president.”

“You just made it up. Don't dream too much!” 

“Don't be crazy!” The manager sneered.

Aiden and his friends could only exhale slowly. He still couldn't understand what the manager had said. His attitude had really gone too far.

"Okay if you don't believe me. Please wait while I meet your boss and see what I can do to get you fired from here!"

"Do it! Do as you please! Just carry on with all your dreams, but please don't forget your status too if you are still poor!”

“Don't think you are rich!” yelled the manager.

"No. I'm rich!" Kay argued.

"What is the proof?” He asked the proof. 

“All my words are true. At the very least, you should wear branded clothes." He pointed at Kay.

"I'll prove it after this. Don't be surprised after I act. Your behaviour is very bad!"

Then Aiden, Ariana, and Kay left Samuel.
