Chapter Twenty-two

Panic struck Dylan to his core, his eyes looking to the left and his hands hung in the air. He was held in place by the security crushing their hand through his body.

"Search him and find anything, don't leave him unturned." She looked to the side and mumbled something. "I didn't trust Natalie and her good-for-nothing thing husband." She hissed.

After searching through Dylan he looked up at Willow and then bent his head, avoiding eye contact.

"We saw this in his pocket." One of the heavy-bodied security said, pushing Dylan to the side.

"Get out of the way." Dylan's hand hit hard on the desk in front of him. Groaning he glared at his boss.

"That doesn't count, don't bother anymore, he can't bring me down, can he? A low life like him can't be anything." She said and stomped away.

As if something occurred to her. "You're not going to stand there lazy, go get me coffee and some brownies, you've ruined my perfect mood." Willow huffed.
