Both officials ended in a staring match, as Oliver’s father would not back down. Yet, it seems the fellow had a score to settle with the man, as he grinned, already having a comeback for that excuse.

“He’s a soldier, is he not? Surely he was trained to endure something like this.”

Everyone turned quiet, as the two officials continued glaring at each other, leaving the youngster to turn to look at his friends.

The tension brewing up between the men was so thin that none dared to intervene, fearing that they might get pulled into the conflict. It felt as if at any given moment, a fight would break. Even their personal guards were on edge, ready to take on the other group out of grudge.

“That will be not be a problem, sir.”

Oliver intervened before anything else happened, lifting his head up high, assuming the same form as the soldiers.
