Chapter 91 Tainted and fallen

When Hucar came to his senses, he could see that he was inside some kind of building. Gaze still blurry, he squeezes his eyes to get a better view of things. It jolted him awake at the sight of the place he was in.

The walls were made of what looked like veiny skin, roots surrounded them, it formed a dome shape ceiling that was the same as the cathedrals, but erected with pillars of giant bones.

In the middle of it all, he spotted what seemed to be an enormous oval seed, red as blood, hanging at the center. It had an opening which showed a being within it, covered in shadow that was looking at him.

It was then that he noticed there were other of the same object, attached to each side of the walls.

“Where am I?”

He says sternly. It was the only thing he could do. As he hanged in place, they stretched out and bonded his arms and legs on a trunk.

The figure did not answer, only tilting its head to observe him.
