Within the darkness, on a floating platform made of trees, vines, and krad carcasses, was Chris, sitting on a throne of spikes and bent trunk, along with the wriggling doctor. The roots of the fauna continued to grab hold of the now silent machinery, as it too remained helpless in the void.

“We can breathe! Fascinating.”

Steinz chuckled, as they were both able to remain alive, even within the emptiness of the space. A thing which was impossible. The chill prevailed, together with the silence, but it did not bother both of them, being protected by the makeshift vessel.

“Let’s see you enjoy it when you get bored with the place.”

Chris grumbles, sighing as he narrowed his gaze onto the infernal device. The object may have stopped, but he was certain its power remained.

“I am positive we can find a way to kill boredom in someway.”
