Nike air jordan shoes cross the street with endless pools of water. Mud and other dirt managed to stick to the sole of the shoe, some even stuck to the body of the shoe. Silva didn't complain about that because she thought the shoes could still be washed clean, but for something she was looking for tonight she had to get it somehow.

The school gate was clearly visible now, tightly closed with a large padlock visible inside. Silva shouted so that the school security guard who was on duty could hear her voice.

The beam of a flashlight from a distance made Silva heave a sigh of relief. A thin, tall man was walking over, he opened the big gate padlock and said, "What are you doing tonight, Miss?"

"I left my book in class Sir, tomorrow I have to collect my homework. I came here so I won't be punished tomorrow," explained Silva hastily.

"Own?" Roni looked left and right, there was no one. There wasn't even a motorbike or car parked nearby, he couldn't help but think that Silva had come on foot. So reckless just for the sake of school work left behind.

Roni thought he would skip school if he was Silva, it would be better to skip school than be punished. Or rather being punished than coming to school at night like this, he chose to sleep after playing games with his friends.

"Mr. Roni on the night shift alone?"

Silva's question interrupted Roni's reverie, he immediately closed the door and then accompanied Silva through the school grounds. "Yes, incidentally Mr. Supri was sick, so he took leave until he felt better."

"Not afraid, Sir?" Silva looked up to see Roni's expression.

"No, nothing happened while I was on the night watch, Miss. But if I may ask, why did you come alone?”

“My parents are busy working in the room, so I have to go alone without saying goodbye. I am also afraid of disturbing them if I tell them.”

"Is it true that when you tell them they get mad?" Roni frowned, according to him in this world there are many good and bad old people. And Silva happens to have not-so-nice parents.

Silva shook his head with a chuckle. "No Sir, instead they want to take me. I do not want to be a bother, I'd better go alone so as not to disturb mom and dad's work."

"Oh, I see. Even though it's better to be delivered, because it's already late, and this lady is a woman. It's not good to walk alone at night, it's dangerous."

Silva agreed to Roni's worries, but she was still reluctant to bother her parents who must be tired from work. They have to go from morning to evening, but still get office work at home. Doing all their chores until nine in the evening then going to sleep. Their dinner started at seven, and had to finish in fifteen minutes without a word.

Silva felt stiff every time dinner arrived because there was no conversation at the dinner table. They should focus on chewing, then go to the room. Silva has to study, while her parents have to do office work if they have any. However, there were times when they spent their dinner outside playing.

Telling complaints at work, school, about friends, even about television shows that are being talked about. It's not uncommon for Tengku to take Silva to watch Korean dramas and a ball show in the middle of the night without Sofi's knowledge. The woman was always angry when she found out her child didn't sleep on time, she said sleeping in the middle of the night was detrimental to health.

Silva smiled remembering all the sweet memories she made with her family. "I just go in myself, Sir," she said. She stopped in front of the closed classroom door.

Roni nodded while opening the door for Silva. The girl went without fear, took her assignment book that was stored in the desk drawer, smiling. However, her smile faded when she saw the sinister figure at the teacher's table.

The figure sat with a sharp gaze, both eyes burning red. Long hair made Silva goosebumps, she hurriedly left the classroom without saying anything to Roni.

Brak!

The sound of the door slamming made both of them stop without looking back, they preferred to stare at each other before running out. Roni immediately ran while holding Silva's small arm, he was afraid that Silva would forget her direction and then they split up in the corridor. It's a nightmare if done right.

"Sir, don't turn off the flashlight!" shrieked Silva in fear.

"I didn't turn off the flashlight, Sis. This flashlight went off on its own, I swear," said Roni, no less confused.

Silva was confused because the corridor lights were getting dim, and more ghosts with scary faces came out. Her worst nightmare was what she was actually experiencing right now. Only she could see the ugly faces of every ghost, and Roni was just terrified as he kept running.

Silva's steps stopped near the security post, even with Roni. They breathed a sigh of relief though they were still panting heavily. Roni looked back, right at the school building which was so high, and now it looked scary.

"Sir, what is it?" asked Silva. Her face looked very tired with dripping sweat, even she looked pale now.

Roni shook his head as he really didn't know anything about school ghosts. "I'm new here, just started working here for two months."

"Ha?" Silva was surprised because the new workers should still be doing the morning guard training, not the night watch alone like this. "So this is your first time, Sir?"

Roni nodded in response, he began to sit on the stairs tired. "Sit down Miss, don't stand too long!"

"Sir, why do you have to have a night shift?" Silva was also sitting next to Roni now, her attention turned to the school building. The building is so sturdy and clean, there is no moss or dirt that many buildings have.

Usually ghosts like unclean buildings, but this time a lot of spirits with negative energy came out. Luckily they didn't ask for help, they just stared wildly at Silva and Roni who were running scared. Silva is grateful for that.

"I don't even know why there has to be a night watch, it shouldn't be necessary because the school is so safe so far."

"Ever heard of school gossip as if it was something horror? Maybe it was from Mr. Supri or Mr. Adi when they were chatting and playing cards."

"There's never been any gossip from them, maybe they're afraid I won't dare to do the night shift." Roni took a deep breath, fortunately his heart was not beating fast. He turned to Silva, giving a wry smile out of fear. "Miss, at ten in the evening I can go home. How about you help me with it? Later in return I will take you home and I will treat you to food."

"You really don't have the courage to take care of yourself?"

"Honestly I'm scared."

The girl opened her eyes in surprise, her eyes so red with an expression of both shock and confusion. The familiar room made Silva let out a sigh of relief. She covered her face with both hands for a long time. The dream this time felt so real, she never imagined she would have such a terrible dream. It's just that Silva doesn't understand the scene of peeling the skin of her own hands, and the blood that comes out with a fairly long duration of time. Unlike the other dream, she dreamed with a stranger she recognized in the dream, and now forgot the guy's face. She never even remembered having a friend named Chandra, or a former lover. "Silva, are you okay?" A noisy voice sounding very worried came as the curtains were rudely drawn. "Honey, I need you to clean the kitchen while I clean the front yard. If there's anything, you can shout to call me or you can call me!" Chandra said, and Silva nodded in response. The tall man with cropped hair walked out of the living room. He went to the front yard, which was really dirty, with lots of grass, and dry leaves that he hadn't burned this morning. The atmosphere of the mansion felt strange to Silva, but there were no strange thoughts in her head. She chose to get up from the sofa, walking towards the kitchen which was not too far from the living room. It was at the back, a fairly large, long room. There were two wooden cabinets that looked old, still used to store a lot of cutlery, and plastic food storage boxes. The glass cabinets were used to store cooked food, and cutlery that was about to be used. Silva watched the large room for a few minutes. She never understood why people made kitchens bigger than rooms, and why kitchens looked dirtier than other rooms. It w

Tama had always been the most annoying person after Resa. "Good morning, Silva," Tama said, his laughter stopping as soon as he looked straight ahead again. "So... where is it?" "I don't know either, it's all full of weeds," replied an equally confused Resa. Both of them were still standing at the threshold of the tomb gate. The view in front of them was only weeds as tall as an adult's elbow, the tombstones were not clearly visible from a distance. The tombs here were not taken care of as they should be, but Resa thought they were not taken care of because no one paid someone specifically for that. As in other places, there must be a caretaker to clean all the graves, and guard the graves against thieves. There are rumors about the theft of pocong ropes, grave land, the bodies of virgins who have just died, and tombstones are often stolen because they are said to be sold at high prices, but for other stolen items, they are used as tools in order to gain power from magic. Resa sighed deeply when he saw his house was so quiet. Guilt was clearly visible on his face, he came home at 12pm, and didn't give any news to the people at home. There was actually a sense of fear when he entered his house, but inevitably he had to face all the problems that existed, and listen to the scolding of his mother. It was okay for her to be naughty today, for the first time to be more precise. Previously, he never came home late, was always on time after school, and helped people at home do work that could be considered quite rough. Resa moved the curtains to cover the kitchen door, he saw Regina still busy in front of the stove to fry the donuts that had just finished rising perfectly. He smiled sweetly when Regina turned around, the little girl was happy to see Resa back home. "Where have you been?" asked Regina, moving from her spot to sit beside Resa now. "I had some sudden business earlier, I'm sorry I didn't give you any news. Where's mom?" Resa looked around the
