Chapter Sixteen

Thompson and his family went along to eat at the dining. Peter was not there because it was only for family and he was not part of the family, at least not yet.

He was in his room, getting prepared for what would be a serious conversation between him and Thompson.

He knew it would come to that sooner or later. He had to be prepared.

Thompson was a very cautious man though. He knew when to bring issues up and when not to. Even if Peter healed him, Peter's relationship with his daughter bothered him.

He however was not the type that would bring it up on the dining table.

This was a happy moment and it had to be kept that way. They chatted and talked about all sorts of things while they ate.

From work to fun stuffs and everything that happened while he was away.

It was after eating and retiring to his room that he called for his daughter. She went into the room to meet him.

"How are you feeling? " She asked her father when she got in.

"As jumpy as a ten year old boy." Her fathe
