In a rush, Anthony turned his entire body to him but even in such a situation was still able to maintain his bearings and check Franklin’s vitals as the first and most important thing to do right now. Left under Franklin's and the mysterious lady's control wasn't a comforting situation to be in and hours later, Anthony was just beginning to regain his consciousness with the first stimuli he rediscovered being sound. A couple days later, inside one of the Polaris city judiciary courts' courtrooms, Jason was standing trial on charges of violence, possession, and firing of a dangerous firearm, endangering the public, minors especially as well as lying to the police and framing someone else for all said crimes.However, because the person he tried to frame, Anthony, wasn’t here to testify and give his accounts of the incident, they had no choice but to drop that charge and went to judge the rest offenses which was plenty enough.While Jason sat in the defendant's box, wearing the detention uniform and looking pitiable to everyone else in the audience, his rapidly blinking eyes couldn’t stop being fixed on one particular spot in the courtroom. The judge saw that the way Jason kept scrolling his neck to the right ever so slightly looked like he wanted to turn around, but then, the judge also took his eyes and glared at a particular group of people who were seated and had acted as the eyewitnesses to the case, all together on the third row. This included the manager of The Nostalgia cinema, Todd as well as Corner who had all given their accounts and were just waiting for the verdict to be said, same as everyone. Because of the trial and having to act as eyewitnesses Todd, Corner, and the Nostalgia cinema’s manager who was named Murray had started to hit it off and become somewhat friendly with each other which isn’t hard to believe because of the age difference between them wasn’t that much, Murray being twenty-one and both teenage boys being seventeen about to turn eighteen. Todd and Corner didn’t have any friends at school and became friends themselves thanks to Jason bringing them together but in truth, they were more like his lackeys and had gotten tired of being that, hence the retaliation. Murray was socially awkward and focused on work so that he could rise to the position of manager quickly and so he didn’t have time or the skills to make friends.
