THE CATCH

Inside his hotel room's kitchen which is where he had been for the past half an hour, Anthony had his phone out, rhythmically tapping on the contact profile of the Faller's home landline while contemplating if he should call them or not.

He was apprehensive because the last time he spoke with a member of the Faller family it was Samuel who relayed his mother's message which was a warning for him to stay away from all of them and as an extension Amanda as well.

Even though Amanda's biological father had helped Anthony in the past which is the reason he feels protective over the little girl, she is still the adopted daughter of the Fallers and as such, whatever her adoptive mother says, goes.

"It's been over a month now, probably should have been enough time for her to heal since the surgery, right?" Anthony mumbled with a creased forehead while scratching his hair.

Suddenly, he smacked his tongue and stuffed his phone into his pocket.
