“What time is it?” Anthony asked himself before looking at his phone lying there next to the open door. After what happened to his last phone when he dropped it thinking that Samuel was about to get into an accident, this time Anthony upped for a screen protector so the phone was perfectly fine even after dropping it.He walked over to it slowly then picked it up, managing the pain he felt all over his body from doing so. When he check what time it was, he saw that only two minutes had passed since he opened the door to go out.“So short but it felt like so long” Anthony mumbled before stuffing the phone into his pocket and then walking over to the bed. From under the bed, he brought out the first aid box, using the things he needed from inside to clean his wound and apply bandages on the bruises and cuts he had.He took some painkillers as well to help with the pain and the headache from being hit on the head by a blunt weapon from someone as strong as Saul.Anthony returned the firs
Inside the Gem Fest, Anthony and Annabelle went from one gathering to the next, enjoying whatever the people had to show them from their years of travels. From watching dances learned while visiting an indigenous tribe somewhere on the other side of the world to trying uniquely looking and tasting foods sold at different stalls. The music, the art and so much more was experienced by Anthony and Annabelle and the best part is that even though Annabelle had been to the festival before, she was still getting to experience new things she didn’t last time. There were also games being played, games that had prizes of different kinds and the coordinator would only describe how the game was being played once before whoever decides to take part in it starts.“So, who would like to come up next and have a try at this new game? We’ll be taking in teams of two, must be a couple and we would like to see which couples know their partner the most!” Yelled the coordinator of the gathering Anthony and
“It doesn’t matter but have you noticed it yet?” The old lady asked Anthony and he grimaced in confusion.“Noticed what yet?” “The pain you were feeling? Where has it gone?” The old lady asked him, smirking as he looked down.Anthony crease his forehead in skepticism, wondering why he wasn’t feeling any pains in his body when just some seconds ago it was like his arm was about to be ripped offAnthony grunted, knowing that things had gone beyond his understanding.“Is it this place? I don’t know why but it feels kind of familiar” Anthony said as he looked all over the strange area he was in.The old lady chuckled “Familiar is it? Maybe you’re correct and maybe you’re hallucinating, who’s to say?” She shruggedAnthony frowned as he lowered his head to look at her.“So what now? Why did you bring me here?” Anthony asked.“Why did I bring you here you ask?” The old lady said then Anthony jolted when she disappeared from where she was in front of him.“Where did she go?!” Anthony asked i
"What am I doing here? I just came back from using the restroom only to find you yelling at the ground" Annabelle said.Anthony grimaced "What are you talking about yelling at the ground? Can't you see that lady—" Anthony said as he hurriedly turned to where the old lady was but to his surprise there was nothing and no one there."Where did she go?" Anthony mumbled in shock."Where did who go? Anthony, are you sure the injury on your head isn't affecting you a little?" Annabelle asked.Anthony was trying to wrap his head around what just happened but couldn't. He tried touching his head injury, wondering if Saul's hit did do something to him."Maybe we should go see a doctor" Annabelle suggested."I don't know, maybe—" Anthony said then jolted when he touched the wound over the bandaid but he felt nothing. It was like the injury wasn't there.Anthony then observed his entire body while standing how he was and all the pains he should have were gone."Wait, did that really happen?" Antho
I just wanted to thank every single reader who has made it to this point in the story. I truly appreciate all the comments and coins you've spent to help support this book to the place that it is right now. We finally made it to the long-awaited end of part one!!! I know it’s been months since I left a note saying that I was going to end the first part of this story, way back when the title of this book used to be THE MYSTERIOUS BUT CHARMING ANTHONY STAR. Just look how far we've come since then… Hehe It might not be obvious but this was a story I came up with just three days before I started publishing the first chapter and I hadn't thought about everything that I was going to write down. I was just winging it most of the time However, what I did think of was how many parts this story was going to have and what the major plot of each part was going to be like. Now, experience and inspiration have influenced how a lot of the plots took place in part one and I'm sure it'll happen
A couple of days ago, at the same moment, Anthony returned to Polaris and was meeting with Mr. Rose Dana for the first time, somewhere else around the globe a private jet just made a perfect landing."Welcome to the Rugald C, also known as the kingdom of Gold, Lady Satyre," said the head air hostess enthusiastically to Satyre who was seated gracefully in her chair and had her legs crossed.Satyre looked out the window to stare at the very spacious Airplane Hangar they were in.“So we’re finally here” Satyre took in a deep breath then said as she sighed. She got up and walked over to the open jet door to take in the breeze and smell of a new Kingdom. She was feeling overwhelmed by the nature of the job which brought her to Rugald C. However, she knew she had to do her best if she was to be of any help to Anthony as she promised him she would.“Lady Satyre, your escort is already waiting for you on the ground and if you need any help with your luggage, a carrier has also been made availa
There was a blind between the backseat where Satyre was and the front seats so even though Marcos kept looking at the back through the rearview mirror, he couldn’t see Satyre who was all he could think about.“What’s the problem with you? I know she’s young but can you stop trying to peek at the client” Ben said annoyingly when he noticed Marcos’ glares.“No, it’s not that,” Marcos said nervously.“Then what is it?” Ben asked skeptically.“Didn’t you notice how easily she picked up that briefcase when even I couldn’t do it? Just who is this girl?” Marcos turned back and glared at the blind.“Look, it’s not our business knowing who the clients are but if this will ease your mind then I’ll say it. You already know who we’re taking her to go see right?” Ben asked.Marcos nodded his head.“And you know the type of people that surround someone like that right?”“Sure” Marcos shrugged and Ben entered the next street“So, it shouldn’t be a surprise that someone like her who can do things tha
After the quick tour, the head maid escorted Satyre to her room, and standing by the door, they started having a little chat.“I know this is strange of me to say Lady Satyre but I suggest you refrain from leaving this room until the master returns. You more than anyone should know the gravity of the situation you’re in so it’s best not to do anything that could ruin your chances at success with whatever request you would like to make to the master” The head maid said and Satyre thought about it.She didn’t want to do anything that could hamper her chances with the master of the mansion and as such, if she has to remain in that one room for days then there was no problem“I understand and thank you for the advice,” Satyre said graciously.“It’s my pleasure. I can see that you’re young and though age doesn’t mean competence, I should know that more than anyone else, from the way you carry yourself there still is the apparent greenness you portray” The head maid said and Sartre grimaced
