Chapter Five:

Jackson was shocked when he heard that Eva Clark's company was facing financial troubles, and he couldn't believe that Eva had been forced to deal with an unscrupulous CEO to save the company.

"He's the CEO of the company we're going to contract with," Eva said.

Jackson listened intently and nervously responded, "He won't be able to do anything."

"You don't understand, Jackson. The company is facing massive financial problems, and he's the investor who will provide up to 300 million dollars to solve the company's issues," Eva spoke sadly.

"He's just an old man, a perverted scoundrel who threatens and blackmails you. What? Are you going to fulfill his condition and sleep with him?" Jackson exclaimed.

"You don't understand anything about the world of companies and business and how things work," Eva spoke with resignation.

His words angered Jackson even more, especially as he remembered his ex-wife Emma, who had slept with her boss for a promotion.

"Is sex the easiest way for women to advance in their careers and secure a position quickly?" he said with sadness.

"I certainly didn't mean that, but what I meant is that some resort to such methods, Jackson. However, I would have found another solution, and I won't sleep with that old man," Eva replied.

Jackson laughed and then said, "The situation is not laughable, but what if he wasn't old? What if he were a young, handsome, and charming guy that women fall in love with? Would you sleep with him? I mean, would you be happy to offer yourself and engage in sex?"

"Not everyone is like Emma, Jackson. I'll forgive you and understand that you're in shock over Emma's betrayal. Otherwise, I wouldn't allow you to talk to me like this. No man has ever touched me, and besides, I'm still a virgin."

"I'll give you 500 million dollars instead of 300 million. You don't have to sleep with that CEO, just to secure the contract."

Eva Clark thought that Jackson had gone mad, as he was barely working two jobs, one of them as a delivery boy, and now he was talking about millions.

Jackson continued with strength and determination, speaking with all honesty: "In return, I want a 50% share of the profits, and I'll help make the company one of the best in the world."

Eva was skeptical – she couldn't believe that Jackson had the capability to access such a large sum of money. She thought he was joking.

"You're crazy, Jackson, you must be joking, man."

Jackson was serious, knowing that he was the wealthiest heir in the world, and $500 million was nothing but a drop in the ocean of his immense wealth.

Jackson attempted to convince Eva, saying, "You can agree, and you'll be sure of my sincerity."

Eva's doubts didn't fade, and she considered Jackson to be joking, so she responded seriously, "The situation is unbearable, Jackson. I've always seen you as a hardworking and decent man, but a situation like this requires vast sums of money."

"You can consider my offer, and you won't lose anything; it's the only way to save the company."

Eva remained skeptical, and her anger began to rise. She wondered if Jackson was trying to deceive her, but he stood his ground.

Jackson asked her one last time, "So, is your final decision to accept the offer or reject it? This is your last chance; otherwise, you'll have to sleep with that old man and lose the virginity you were talking about a little while ago."

"Before you reject, you're risking the future of the company."

"Tell me, Jackson, how will you get $500 million when you can barely cover your own expenses? You work as a cake delivery boy," Eva exclaimed.

"I'll give you $500 million; it's nothing to me. It's a dime," Jackson chuckled.

Eva laughed mockingly and incredulously, "And if that's really true, why are you still working as a delivery boy, Jackson?"

"I'm not lying to you. And now, you'll miss the chance to save your company."

Eva was at the peak of anger, "But tell me, where do you get the money?"

"Trust me, I have the money, and maybe later I'll tell you everything, but not now."

"But... but..."

"No objections. Prepare the contract, sign it, and I'll be your partner, getting 50% of the profits," he said firmly and resolutely.

Eva grew even angrier and threw the contract at him, believing he would never be able to fulfill his promise. But Jackson was determined to prove her wrong. He picked up the contract and signed it with confidence.

Certainly, he wouldn't be able to do anything, that's all Eva thought. But Jackson's determination made her hesitate. As for Jackson, deep inside, he had decided to help her because she was the only one who had been with him, unaware of his wealth.
