Chapter 14. The Wright Mansion.

Alaric awoke to the sound of his alarm and groaned. His mouth hurt from the fight last night, and he didn't quite remember how it happened.

Immediately, he took up his phone, and his eyes grew wide. His father had sent him the address of his new house, and he was excited about it.

Quickly, he got dressed to go to his new home. Having just a pair of jeans in his wardrobe, he picked one of those and slid it on, with a white shirt. He left his house with high hopes.

Stopping a cab, he showed the address to the driver, who didn't recognize it but took him to the nearest stop.

"Thanks," Alaric said, as he pulled out a $50 bill and paid the driver.

He didn't know where to go, and it was as if he was in a different world. The places seemed so unfamiliar, and all he could see were mountainous houses.

He decided to call his dad.

"Dad, I'm at the nearest stop to the address. Where do I go? Everywhere seems so bizarre," he said.

"Don't worry Alaric, they are coming for you very soon."
