Chapter 17. It's you, Mother.

They drove all the way to the Villa. The convoy attracted public eyes, and Alaric could witness it from inside the car. It was the first time in his life he felt like he was on top of the world.

"How long is it going to take?" He asked Steve, who was seated in the passenger's.

"It's a long drive, Master. It will take about an hour before we reach. The Villa is very far away," he explained.

Why build a mansion, and a Villa? Alaric asked himself questions to which he didn't have an answer.

It was a long drive. An hour in the car was making him feel a little bit sick, and the anxiety running through him made it worse.

He now wanted to see his family so badly. He wanted to see what they were like and wanted the wait to be over so quickly. The car halted, as other cars on the lane did too.

"We have arrived," Steve said.

Alaric felt his stomach drop. Suddenly, he was feeling nauseous. Maybe it was too much of a bundle of joy, that it made his stomach jitter.
