Chapter 24 - Serena's POV

“Do you know that guy?” asked my friend who was looking at Julian.

I didn't want to look back at all and just answered, “Just ignore him.”

“Do you still like flirting with guys like that?”

I didn't want to answer because I was a little offended by her words. I became a woman who was known for flirting with men, but that wasn't the case. I was once cheated on by my boyfriend and it drove me crazy. For years, I tried to move on from him by seeking release from other men. From there, I became known as a woman who liked to flirt with other men, both married and single.

“I have to go, I have some business,” I lied to my friend because I felt uncomfortable with her attitude.
