Chapter 35 - Second Phase

Just as soon as Nicolas uttered his statement, he turned his orange irises in the direction of the fire alarm that was fixed on the ceiling of the abandoned storeroom.

In the next moment, the fire alarm went off, sending piercing blares of ear-splitting sounds around the entire Limbra Inc. building.

Nicolas glanced at the time on his unassuming black wristwatch, evidently unaffected by the scorching temperature and thick fumes of smoke in the burning storeroom, and saw that it was already 12:20 p.m.

According to his calculations, it would take a little over 20 minutes to evacuate the entire Limbra Inc. building, as the fire he lit would surely spread; therefore, he had only 15 minutes to complete the second phase of the plan.

Moreover, after the twenty minutes were over, the firefighting team would arrive at Limbra Inc. to combat the fire he started; therefore, he needed to complete the second phase of his plan as soon as possible.
