-Primrose Golden Alcazar
Inside a very luxurious hotel suite that screamed of opulence and wealth, an attractive young man poured a bottle of a 19-year-old exquisite red wine into a glass cup.The young man was dressed in a black bathroom robe, with water droplets still dripping off the pale skin of his dexterously sculpted upper body that spoke of long hours of training exposed. On his muscular well defined back rested a very intricate tattoo of a wolf. His glossy midnight black hair was still wet from the long shower that he had in the jacuzzi. This attractive young man was of course Nicolas. After leaving the Clinton Group’s headquarters, Nicolas paid the exorbitant fee of a hundred thousand dollars for a night at the Primrose Golden Alcazar while he waited for Charlotte’s call.As for whether Charlotte would agree to his deal, he was not bothered about that.Charlotte’s precious Clinton Group had been backed into a corner. He was sure that she would do anything possible to revive it.The sound of a phone ringtone suddenly pulled him out of his contemplation. Nicolas frowned slightly as he walked towards the ebony desk his phone rested on.However, when he saw the caller ID on the phone screen, the frown instantly left his face, and an expression of victory replaced it.“Miss. Charlotte, have you come to a decision?” Nicolas asked with a smirk on his face.“Yes. I will do as you say.” Charlotte answered in a defeated tone from the other end of the phone. After thinking about it long and hard, Charlotte saw that she had no other choice but to accept Nicolas’ deal. The Clinton Group was already done for after all, and if Nicolas didn’t offer to inject 25 million dollars into her company, the company would have gone bankrupt. Moreover, she wouldn’t be able to pay for her father’s hospital bills anymore. On the contrary, if she accepted Nicolas’s deal, the Clinton Group will be back to its former glory in less than a month! In addition to that, Nicolas promised to make the Clinton Group the number one business Group in Stormwind city. Even if she didn’t think he could do so, there was no harm in trying.“Good. You have made the right decision.” Nicolas replied happily while taking a sip from his glass cup filled with red wine.“Sign the contract and mail it to me. We will meet at Black café in two hours to conclude the minor details.” Nicolas said in a relaxed tone.“Alright.” Charlotte replied calmly from the other end of the phone.“Is there any thing else you would like to say?” Nicolas asked.“No. None at all.” Charlotte answered.“Is that so? That’s good then. We’ll meet in two hours.” Nicolas stated before disconnecting the phone call.***-2 hours later--Black café, Stormwind cityInside a very high-priced café in the most expensive parts of Stormwind city, two very attractive people, a male and a female were seated opposite each other, and on the table that separated them from each other was a piece of paper placed neatly on it, alongside two cups of steaming hot coffee. This two people were of course Charlotte and Nicolas.“Mr. Nicolas, what are your plans for Clinton Group? How are you going to make them the number one business group in Stormwind city?” Charlotte asked impatiently.Nicolas, dressed in simple black shirt and black slacks took a sip of coffee not minding how hot it was before replying to Charlotte’s question.“Naturally, I will have to restructure the company. Don’t worry, it won’t be anything drastic.” Nicolas replied calmly.“Restructure the company?” Charlotte asked, her tone betraying her confusion.“Yes.” Nicolas affirmed, his tone calm as ever.“Frankly speaking, your company inner workings are too primitive compared to the current top companies in Stormwind city.” Nicolas added in a disappointing tone after seconds of contemplation. In honesty, it was no wonder that the Clinton Group risked a capital chain rupture and were on the verge of going bankrupt. Their company workings were way behind the top business groups, and it was quite visible where it led their company to.Nicolas’ words even though they were the truth was a bit brutal, so Charlotte’s beautiful face turned a pretty shade of red from the embarrassment she felt.“Don’t worry. I have already laid out the groundworks for your company to reach the top.” Nicolas assured in a tone filled with mirth when he saw Charlotte’s embarrassed expression. He then slid over the paper on the table and passed it to Charlotte while speaking.“This is a concise summary of the plans I have made. Read through it.”Charlotte accepted the paper and read through it while Nicolas drank his cup of coffee leisurely.Charlotte’s expression constantly changed as she read through the paper, her expressions ranging from indifference, to shock, to disbelief. At first, when she accepted the paper from Nicolas, she wasn’t expecting anything remarkable in it. After all she graduated as one of the best business students in her class from Stormwind University, the best university in the whole of Stormwind city, but what she read now thoroughly slapped her in the face. She had been completely wrong about Nicolas from the start!Charlotte looked up from the paper and stared at the extremely handsome man seated across her with great intensity. She had guessed it before, but this just proved it to her again. This handsome young man was not from a simple background; or rather his identity was very special.“A great plan, isn’t it?” Nicolas asked, his tone layered with confidence.“Yes. it is.” Charlotte answered truthfully.Great was really an understatement, Charlotte thought. If anything, it was more than perfect.Nicolas stretched out his right hand and collected the piece of paper which contained a detailed plan on how he planned to restructure the Clinton Group and tucked it neatly into his pocket before speaking.“It is good that you agree with my plan. That would make this work very easy for us.” Nicolas said, his tone incredibly affirmative.“However, to create an ideal work environment for us, we have to take care of some pestering insects, don’t you think?” Nicolas asked with a smile on his lips, but the aura now leaking out of him was very suffocating.Charlotte struggled to breathe for a few seconds when faced with Nicolas’ aura and was only able to breathe when Nicolas withdrew his aura.“Insects? What do you mean by insects, Mr. Nicolas?” Charlotte asked, her confusion very evident in her tone.Nicolas smiled again and took another sip from his hot cup of coffee before replying.“The Schick Group.”Charlotte’s eyes widened in shock at Nicolas’ words, but before she could even give a reply, Nicolas cut her short."The Schick Group and its heir Patrick Schick are a nuisance in my plans, and I don't like nuisances." Nicolas spoke authoritatively, his piercing blue eyes glinting with an icy gleam."Do you mean..." Charlotte began to speak, but her focus was drawn to the attractive Nicolas.“Yes. I am going to crush the Schick Group thoroughly." Nicolas declared arrogantly.-Hilton Restaurant, Stormwind City. Inside the VIP room of a very luxurious restaurant, two people of dignified bearing were sitting opposite each other. On top of the table that separated them from each other rested several luxurious and exotic dishes, with two bottles of exotic red wine accompanying the dishes. "This is definitely the end of the road for Charlotte Clinton." "I have thoroughly cornered her, and for her to escape her predicament she has no choice but to marry me." one of the two people dining with each other said in a very confident and satisfied tone. The person who spoke was a dashing young man with sleek black hair. He was dressed in an expensive grey suit with an equally expensive Breguet wristwatch worth around twenty thousand dollars adorning his left wrist. This young man was of course Patrick Schick, the current heir to the Schick Group. "As expected of the current heir to the Schick Group! Who can resist your charms?!" the second person replied. He was
-Primrose Golden Alcazar, Stormwind City. Four days had passed since Nicolas' meeting with Charlotte, and while Patrick was furious over Nicolas' interruption, which had ruined his plans, Nicolas was sleeping soundly in his hotel suite's splendid master bedroom. The sound of a phone call suddenly filled the silent bedroom, and the loud ringtone roused Nicolas from his sleep. In a swift movement, Nicolas stretched his hands and answered the phone call before placing it to his ear without checking the caller ID. "Hello?" Nicolas greeted lazily, still half asleep from the all-nighter he pulled yesterday. "Hello Mr. Nicolas." an enchanting voice responded from the other end of the phone. "Miss Charlotte, to what do I owe this phone call?" Nicolas greeted while glancing at the time on the antique clock on the wall of the bedroom. "Nothing much." Charlotte answered calmly, but there were hints of excitement in her voice. "I wanted to inform you that I followed the instructions you gav
"Young man, do you live there? I heard that's not a place that just anybody can live in. It's a really expensive place." The taxi driver mentioned in a concerned tone. He was a long term resident of this region, so he knew a lot of things the average foreigner didn't. Nicolas was about to ignore the taxi driver, but after hearing his concerned tone he changed his mind and decided to reply. "No I don't live there. I want to buy a house. I heard the location is not bad, and the prices are decent." Nicolas replied casually. After hearing Nicolas' reply, the taxi driver went silent and seamlessly drove out of the parking lot. What a joke. Most people in this region could not afford to rent a place in the Onyx Palace, talk less of buying a house. It was even more unbelievable that it was this young man who wanted to purchase a house there. He did not look like he could even afford the meals there, talk less the house. Nicolas could guess what was going on in the taxi driver's mind, bu
Everyone watched with bated breaths as she swiped the card on the Point of Sale machine. They wanted to see if Nicolas was just a braggart or was really as wealthy he claimed to be. After swiping the black card, the Point of Sale machine beeped, signifying that the payment of $17 million was successful, before printing out the transaction receipt. The customers who were so loud earlier couldn't laugh now. They were looking at Nicolas like he was an alien, their expressions extremely comical. They did not think that Nicolas could easily buy the Blue Diamond Villa so easily! To be able to spend $17 million so easily, how rich must he be? He must have had above $100 million in that black card! Ann was also very surprised. She did not think that Nicolas could afford the Villa at all. She was surprised, but pleasantly so. She was an intern salesperson and had never made such a huge sale before. Her commission from this sale alone was comparable to several months of her salary. "The c
"Arson?" Nicolas inquired, his piercing blue eyes narrowing and his voice icy. "Yes." Detective Oliver replied affirmatively, his tone still neutral. Nicolas' grip on his phone became tighter, and some cracks started appearing on the phone. The aura that leaked out of his body was incredibly murderous, which made one wonder what exactly Nicolas did to have such a murderous aura. "The culprit?" Nicolas asked with gritted teeth, his grip on the phone still getting tighter. "I have not discovered the culprit yet, but I am currently working on it." Detective Oliver answered in the same neutral tone. "Okay. Keep me updated on any findings you have." Nicolas ordered before abruptly disconnecting the phone call. Nicolas dropped his phone on his table and took a look at the documents. His phone was now damaged, with the edges of the phone bent and huge cracks now on it. The screen was now also bad, but Nicolas could care less about his damaged phone. His whole attention was on the conve
-NX warehouse. [2 hours earlier] Inside a barely lit warehouse, a dashing young man dressed in an all black leather suit held an expensive phone in his left hand. Beside him was another dashing young man who was dressed in the same outfit, but a black nose mask hiding his facial features. Thirty burly men were also present in the barely lit warehouse, maintaining a bit of distance from the two young men but were still positioned protectively around the two young men. The young men were none other than Patrick Schick and his very good friend, Victor Russ. There was also a chair in the warehouse, and a very beautiful lady was tied roughly to the chair, her head covered with a black bag. The lady was of course Charlotte. Her radiant aura was no longer present, her beautiful eyes screamed of weakness and tiredness and her expensive clothes were torn in different places. Patrick took a puff from a cigarette in his hand and smoked deeply before passing it over to his friend Victor to
"You must be tired of living a wealthy life." Nicolas said frostily he moment he stepped into the dark warehouse. A quick glance at the warehouse and Nicolas saw the beautiful lady tied down to a chair, with bruises on her face and wrists. It was obvious that Patrick had hit her. Patrick was a bit surprised at Nicolas' early arrival, but a feeling of arrogance soon overcame his surprise and he laughed heartily. "This is great!" Patrick said amidst his laughter. "You must be Nicolas, the only one in Stormwind City who dares to go against my orders!" Patrick continued to say, but Nicolas cut him off abruptly. "Yes I am." Nicolas affirmed coldly. "Very good! Very good!" Patrick said angrily. "I will make sure you regret your actions!" Patrick yelled angrily, and then made a hand signal. As soon as he made the hand signal, the thirty burly men who had secretly positioned themselves to attack the intruder at a moment's notice immediately moved towards Nicolas, their burly bodies radia
Charlotte watched as the policemen arrested Patrick, Victor and the thirty burly men who were defeated by Nicolas. She couldn't believe her eyes at what she saw. Patrick Schick, the vile heir to the Schick Group who had been troubling her and the Clinton Group for more than a year was defeated instantly by the handsome stranger. It was too shocking. While she was still thinking about how surreal the whole sequence of events ended, a sharp pain on her wrist jolted her out of her thoughts. Nicolas who was standing close to her instantly noticed her subtle movement, and a sharp crease appeared on his eyebrows. He stretched his hands and studied her injured wrist for a few seconds before letting out a sharp sigh. "You have been injured by those horrible men. Let's get you to the hospital immediately." Nicolas said in a calm tone while inspecting the red wounds on Charlotte wrists. As a result, he did not notice the red tint on Charlotte's cheeks. "Mr. Nicolas!" A steady voice sounded
