139: Pregnant?

Emily sat in the sterile hospital waiting room, her hands fidgeting nervously in her lap as she waited for her name to be called.

She had been feeling unwell lately, and despite her best efforts to dismiss it as nothing more than a passing flu, a nagging voice in the back of her mind told her that something was amiss.

"Emily, please have a seat," the nurse said kindly, gesturing toward the examination table.

Emily nodded nervously and perched on the edge of the table, her hands clasped tightly in her lap.

The doctor entered the room with a warm smile, but Emily could sense the gravity behind his demeanor.

"Emily, I understand you've been feeling unwell lately. Can you tell me more about your symptoms?" the doctor asked, his voice gentle yet probing.

"Yes, I've been feeling nauseous and tired a lot," Emily admitted, her voice trembling slightly.
