"Aaarrghhtt!!!

An alien creature that looked like blood-red root tissue attacked Wui Jin, causing her head to be injured. The creature entered Yier Yan's body, so it wasn't long before she got up from her prostration and rubbed her eyes slowly. She vaguely saw a young man sitting on an old bench without opening his eyes. The longer she opened her eyes, the clearer the shape she saw before her eyes.

"Grandpa," he murmured softly.

"Is this real? I can see now! I can see the human form, and is this me?" She asked herself while staring at her hands. She also felt his handsome face while shaking her head in disbelief. For 20 long years, she had waited to know his true form, and now her wish had been realized. Without further ado, she ran out of the temple to find her parents' whereabouts because she couldn't wait to see the form of someone who meant a lot to her.

"Father!!!"

"Mom!!!"

"I can already see! Where are mom and dad?" Wui Jin shouted loudly while running through the dark forest.

"Wui Jin!" Called someone from behind her.

The soft voice managed to make Wui Jin stop her steps; she turned her body to stare at the source of the voice. There was a couple standing in front of the temple door with cold and frightening expressions on their faces. An expression that was far beyond her parents' imagination.

"Father! Mother!"

"They are not your father and mother! What you see right now are only the bodies of your father and mother, while the ones controlling them are the evil insects that have eaten your parents' bodies!" said the being that infiltrated Wui Jin's body.

"Wui Jin is mom and dad. Come with us!" The father ordered as he held out both hands for Wui Jin to come to them.

But hearing the explanation from the creature inside her body immediately frightened Yuer Yan, and she took a few steps back to avoid her parents approaching her body. Meanwhile, the figure inside her body who knew that she was afraid of her parents immediately returned to her voice.

"Don't be afraid! They're just looking for me; they won't hurt you!" The figure said it again.

As soon as she was caught off guard by the figure's words, her parents seized the opportunity to lock down Wui Jin's movements. They grabbed Wui Jin's wrists firmly, then brought her into the dark temple. Apparently, the two parents brought Wui Jin to a dining table, where there was a grandfather sitting at his seat.

"Wui Jin, where did you hide the god Taisu?" Lian Wei asked his son.

Wui Jin shook her head quickly. "I don't know!" She replied fearfully.

"Mom, I'm hungry!" Wui Jin said to change the subject so that her father would not ask her again.

Xiang Ling placed a bowl of Wui Yin's favorite mushrooms right in front of her. He glanced at the mushrooms, until a few seconds later Wui Jin's hand moved to grab the bowl with trembling fear of the two parents who kept staring at him.

"Wui Jin, your hands are shaking so much. Are you afraid of mom and dad?" Xiang Ling asked right in front of her face with a terrifying expression.

She reflexively hit her mother's face so hard that it hit the dining table.

"Insolent insect!" She screamed while pressing her mother's head down.

After a few minutes, he realized what he had done. He raised his hand while looking at his mother's face, which had now turned horrible with sharp eyes. The veins on his neck were visible, indicating that he was angry. Seeing the change, he immediately got up from his seat and ran towards the door, trying to escape. But unfortunately, the door was locked. He tried hard to open the lock with his body shaking violently in fear of seeing his parents approaching him while showing a terrible face.

"Insubordinate child!"

"Mother, forgive me!" Yier Yan shouted.

The door opened wide as the wind from outside entered the temple. She ran out of the temple and stopped in a forest because her parents were already confronting her there. Their fast movements made it difficult for her to escape. He looked at the two old men with fear. He could not do martial arts because of his visual impairment, which made it impossible for him to practice martial arts as a child.

"Return the god Taisu!" Lian Wei ordered sternly.

"You won't be able to run away from me anymore! Return the Taisu god!" Xiang Ling commanded, bringing her body closer to Yier Yan.

But not long after, a strange animal with millipedes came to prevent Lian Wei from hurting Yier Yan. A fight ensued when both of them attacked each other. Yier Yan was still silent, trying to avoid Xiang Ling, who was attacking him. However, the millipede was able to control two fighters at once, so Wui Jin quickly dodged them.

"Don't you want to run? He helped you," said the figure on Wui Jin's body.

"But what about him?" Wui Jin asked herself.

"Hurry up and run away!" He's better than you!" The figure ordered

Wui Jin ran to follow the orders of the figure that possessed her body. But just a few steps from where she was standing, suddenly, an old man with his eyes closed blocked her. Wui Jin, who was originally running, was immediately surprised to hit the old man's body so hard that it made him fall to the ground.

"Return the god Taisu to your grandfather!" Wui Ling's grandfather ordered in an old man's tone.

"I don't know the whereabouts of the Taisu god," Wui Jin replied in a trembling tone.

"I know he's on your body; take him out now!" He ordered.

Wui Jin did not reply. Her body was weak; she felt heat all over her body, and the nerves in her organs instantly weakened. The two eyes that were originally clear to see suddenly blurred, and her body bowed limply.

"Aaarrgghhtt..!!! Hot!" Wui Jin cried out in pain.

"Hoeekk... Hoeek..."

Fresh blood oozed from Wui Jin's lips until it became a moving blob and then attacked the grandfather; simultaneously, the old grandfather turned into a ferocious bear bug. He brought his body closer to the weakened Yier Yan.

"My guess is never wrong; the god Taisu is indeed in your body, flawed young man! Gods do dwell in human bodies, but unfortunately, your body is too fragile to be a place for gods," he said, then went after the figure of the god Taisu.

While the thousand-legged creature has now turned into a handsome and dashing young man who carries a weapon in the form of a red umbrella decorated with writing using ancient Mandarin script, he fought against Lian Wei. In one stroke, the umbrella managed to pierce Lian Wei's body. The hard stomp and the strong energy contained in the weapon managed to make Lian Wei's body weaken. Not long after, the clumps of evil insects that made up Lian Wei's body flew simultaneously, attacking the young man. However, his overpowering energy managed to make the swarm of evil insects leave his presence in one fell swoop.

Seeing Wui Jin lying on the ground, he immediately ran over to her and checked on her. The two young men behind him also came to see Yier Yan's condition.

"We are one step too late to retrieve the god Taisu!" The young man said

"Is the god real in her body?"

"Of course."

"Eeuuhh! Father! Mother! Where are you?" Wui Jin asked softly.

The young man looked at Yier Yan with pity. "At least you've seen your parents' faces, even if it's only in a dream!" He said.

That made Yier Yan frown. "What do you mean, where are my parents? And who are you?" Asked Wui Jin, frightened.
