Not Ready

Guang Gong entered the forest to look for Tian Xie's whereabouts, but it was deserted. Until his foot accidentally stepped on a hole and made him fall down, along with the umbrella he used to use as a weapon. Guang Gong felt something strange behind him; as soon as he turned around, an evil insect was about to pounce on him. Fortunately,  Wui Jin swiftly grabbed the evil insect and killed the creature.

"Be careful, Guang Gong; I will look for Yier's whereabouts first," he said, then left Guang Gong.

Wui Jin stabbed his way into the extremely dark cave, while Yier's name echoed through the cave. He circulated his gaze, sharpening his sense of sight to explore the surroundings of the place. Until his gaze accidentally caught someone lying on the ground, he was curious about the person and chose to approach the person.

"Yier?" He called out

He opened the white cloth immediately, followed by Guang Gong helping Wui Jin lift the head of the person who turned out to be Yier. But not long ago, a swarm of evil insects came directly attacking the two of them without a signal so as to catch Guang Gong off guard, while Wui Jin, who was weak and helpless, was also caught by them because the god Taisu was not controlling his body. Guang Gong fought his way out of the evil insects' confinement, then attacked them with his beloved spear and umbrella. He let his armor move to attack the insects. Meanwhile, he approached Wui Jin, who was trapped in the clutches of the evil insects.

"My strength is unstable this time," he said as he wiped fresh blood from his lips.

Before Guang Gong could answer, suddenly the swarm of insects came again and attacked the two of them ferociously. The reliable umbrella had destroyed the swarm of insects that had beaten them earlier, but there was still another swarm of insects that attacked Guang Gong ferociously.

"Guang Gong! Take care!" Wui Jin ordered

Guang Gong nodded. He sent energy to destroy the insects, but instead of disappearing, the swarm was getting bigger and bigger. Until suddenly, a lantern floated in front of his face and helped him destroy the swarm of insects in one fell swoop. The lantern belonged to the master, who had apparently joined the two of them in this cave. The swarm of insects was wiped out in the hands of the master, after which they took Yier away from the dangerous cave and headed to the Wuyin sect's residence.

**

Yier Yan was lying on a gurney in the Wuyin sect. The master was on top of the gurney, removing the needles stuck in Yier's head one by one. Several times, Wui Jin winced in pain as he watched the master effortlessly remove the needles from Yier's head. It wasn't until he pulled out the last needle that Wui Jin dared to ask the master about Yier's current condition.

"How is she, master?" Wui Jin asked impatiently.

The master lifted the needle and showed Wui Jin that the needle was full of blood and the dark black liquid was dripping.

"The insect poison that entered his body has disappeared because I managed to retrieve this dangerous needle!" He said.

"So what about his life?" Wui Jin asked.

"His life has been saved."

Wui Jin breathed a sigh of relief.

"Tian Xie is a very powerful evil insect leader. Do you all think it's possible that the insect cave in the eastern mountain is related to him?" Rong Yon asked.

"It could be because the Wuyin Sect made too great a sacrifice to seal Tian Xie away," Xian Xie said.

In the middle of the conversation, Guang Gong was still thinking about the Tiasu god on Wui Jin's body. He can't wait to get this god out of his body since he was very uncomfortable with the presence of a strong figure who misplaced himself.

"Prepare to take out the Taisu god!" He ordered.

But all that was not as easy as Guang Gong thought; again, the Taisu god escaped from the Wuyin sect people. So that Guang Gong's intention had to fail for the umpteenth time, Wui Jin ran to a bridge in the Wuyin sect and seated himself on the spot while staring blankly ahead. Wui Jin felt something strange in his body; he felt a tightness in his chest after seeing Yier's weakened state. His regret and guilt were now mixed together as he sat dreamily by the lake with that beautiful view.

"If you are still in my body and have the same thoughts as me, you should be able to feel what I am feeling right now," Wui Jin said, trying to interact with the figure inside his body.

A few seconds later, the figure replied. "That's right, I feel the same regret as you do," said the god Taisu.

"But do you have the heart to expel me from your body? Are you willing to let me go?" Taisu God asked again.

"Honestly, I am not willing to part with you because I feel comfortable," he said again.

Wui Jin instantly felt sad hearing the Taisu god's words. There was a sense of unwillingness because, so far, they had always been together and continued to help him under any circumstances. But now that it was time for them to part, Wui Jin was tired of living in danger like this.

"Then before we part ways, suck my blood until you are satisfied!" He ordered.

"Don't talk like this weakling! I know you are very weak, and as soon as I leave, you will feel tremendous pain. How can I possibly do your orders? I promised that I would not hurt you!" Said the god Taisu.

Wui Jin smiled at God Taisu's words. "What else do I expect? After your departure, I will return to life as before, as a young man without eyes," he said with a wry smile.

Little did Wui Jin know that someone was listening to his conversation with the Taisu god. Guang Gong stepped closer to Wui Jin on the bridge.

"Are you ready yet?" He asked suddenly.

Wui Jin turned his gaze in another direction. "Will I still be able to see the beauty of the world after she comes out? I hope I can still see like a normal young man, even though it's highly unlikely to happen," he said.

Wui Jin's words managed to make Guang Gong feel touched. Guang Gong couldn't bear to see Wui Jin live without eyes, just like when they first met.
