Wudang Sect

Wudang Sect

In a temple in Kaifeng city, a group of warriors are gathering in the hall of the foolish temple in the city. They are a great army of warriors from the Wudang sect led by Master Wen Gu. This group of people was discussing an incident that happened to them some time ago related to the battle between the insects and the warriors of the brewing sect. They were great warriors from the other side of the country who were known as black troops or beggars. Just on this day, they had just returned from the city, where at that time they were carrying out an energy generation mission, more precisely on Mount Husan. This mountain is located in Lake Limau Bunga, and many warriors come to this place because it is considered a martial arts shrine and a health recipe book. Whoever comes to this place and then performs austerities and cultivates on Mount Husan, the strength they have will increase. That was why Master Wen Gu brought some of his troops to this place to meditate for a while with him.

Wen Gu and Wang Yibo surrounded their troops and checked on them one by one to make sure that there were no injuries from the fight between the two sects. It turned out that none of the troops had any injuries at all, so it made the two of them breathe a sigh of relief that there was no longer a burden to teach them more martial arts and bear the risk of treatment due to battle wounds.

"Are there no wounds on your bodies?" Wen Gu asked his troops.

"Ready, master!" They all replied in unison.

Hearing the answer from his troops, Wen Gu nodded in satisfaction. "Well done! You made me proud!" He said.

"Looks like those insect troops aren't bad guys," Wang Yibo said suddenly, discussing the evil insect troops who fought with the troops of the Wudang Sect.

Wen Gu smiled wryly in response to his younger brother's remark. "Nowadays, there are no good people! Everyone on this earth is a bad person trying to rule the world. They will resort to any means to get what they want, including martial arts power!" He said it firmly.

But Wang Yibo wasn't convinced by Wen Gu's answer because his gut feeling had never been wrong. "But brother, in my opinion, they're not an army that wants to seize martial arts rights; we've misunderstood them all," he replied, trying to clear up the confusion with his brother.

Wen Gu instantly turned her head toward the source of the voice while frowning curiously. "What do you mean?" She asked with a sardonic look.

"We were wrong to attack that insect army. We should have just let the insects pass, because we don't know what they will do. The proof is that I don't feel any power related to martial arts theft, and they are also not targeting us at all, but stupidly, we are the ones who attacked them brutally."

Wen Gu was silent when he heard the explanation given by Wang Yibo. Thinking about everything, until not long ago, Wen Gu looked at Wang Yibo with a flat gaze.

"Does that mean we're in danger?"

"So what if they have a grudge against the Wudang Sect?" Wen Gu asked worriedly.

Wang Yibo shrugged his shoulders indifferently. "That's why we shouldn't be prejudiced against others! If they do have a grudge against the Wudang Sect, then we should prepare from now on so that we won't be surprised by their surprise attack," Wang Yibo wisely suggested.

Wen Gu is the master of the Wudang Sect; he is also the most highly ranked martial artist among the Wudang Sect's army of warriors, but Wen Gu's mindset and way of acting are very different from Wang Yibo's. He is small and below Wang Yibo's level. He is indeed small and below Wen Gu's level, but Wang Yibo has a very rational mind; logic always plays a role when doing something neatly planned, and Wang Yino is a warrior who has a calm, relaxed personality but can melt the opponent. They are very different from Wen Gu, but that does not stop them from working together to manage the Wudang Sect. The shortcomings of each of them are well accepted by both of them; they can complement each other, and the good thing is that both of these warriors can understand each other without any disputes due to differences of opinion.

Wang Yibo turned his body to look at the great warriors of the Wudang Sect. He dismissed his troops and asked them all to enter the temple to rest. In the past few days, they had worked diligently to advance the Wudang Sect. Now that only Wang Yibo and Wen Gu are left in the hall, the two of them walk to the resting place that is usually used as a mass meditation. The two of them sit facing each other as if they are having a discussion.

"Brother, what plans do we have for the next few days?" Wang Yibo asked in a serious tone.

The elder brother sighed heavily. As if carrying a burden that his lips could not express.

"I don't know; I still don't have a way out."

"But our goal is still the same: to find Lord Taisu's whereabouts and extract his energy to raise the level of the Wudang Sect's martial arts," he said.

Wang Yibo was silent. Thinking about what Wen Gu said, it's not in his control, but after all, he's a younger brother who has an obligation to help his older brother get things done and achieve what he wants. All this is for the good of all of them, including himself.

"Shouldn't we send some warriors to search for Lord Taisu's whereabouts?" Wang Yibo asked.

"I heard from the people at the last market that there was a strange young man who saved the city from demons and attacks by the army of young master Zhang, the greatest ruler in the city."

"I am very curious about that young man; I would like to meet him and test his strength," said Wen Gu.

"Which sect is he from?"

Wen Gu shook her head. "I don't know; he's an ordinary teenager who can't do martial arts, but his courage is extraordinary," she explained.

"So what's in it for you to meet him, sis? Does he know the whereabouts of Lord Taisu?"

Wen Gu chuckled softly. "Tsk! He's a great man, not afraid of the harshness of the martial world. If he wants to come with me, then the Wudang Sect has a great warrior who can help me find Lord Taisu's whereabouts. You already know that finding Lord Taisu is the biggest risk, because not only do we have to defeat him, but the many warriors or demons who want Lord Taisu are also a threat to all of us!"

"Brother is right," Wang Yibo replied as he stared blankly ahead.

Midnight

The quietness of the night and the quietness in the temple were felt because it was already midnight. The warriors and residents of the temple had slept in their respective rooms because all day they had done a lot of activities that made them all exhausted, so rest was a solution to restore the energy that had been wasted during the day. This quiet and cold night atmosphere gave the impression of the pleasure felt by the residents of the temple, but in contrast to Wang Yibo and Wen Gu, the two of them could not sleep like the others; their minds were disturbed by an energy that they themselves could not detect. Until now, they were still awake from their sleepiness; they also chose to take a drink first in order to relieve their disturbed minds, but just now, as the two of them lay their bodies on the bed, an important sound suddenly occurred right above the bed. That made Wang Yibo and Wen Gu immediately get up from the bed and turn their heads to look around the room to make sure that nothing had happened.

Wang Yibo frowned when he saw a fire coming from the tunnel, causing him to panic and call his brother.

"Brother, there's a fire!" He shouted in panic.

Wen Gu looked in the direction his sister was pointing, and he glared at the flames outside. She got up from the bed and ran out of the room to see what was going on outside the temple. But what did he find? Warriors and swarms of insects were fighting each other, and the sound of chaos could be heard loudly in the martial hall. Wen Gun paused for a moment on the spot, casting his eyes around the place, looking for the whereabouts of the leader of this army but finding none.

"It's true what I said; they won't accept us attacking their troops," Wang Yibo said.

Wen Gu nodded at that. "That's right. And they're coming with more troops than ever," Wen Gu replied.

"But there doesn't seem to be a leader here," she said as she looked around.

"Still, we have to be more careful, afraid that the leaders of these insects will come to attack without our knowledge," said Wang Yibo, warning his brother to stay alert, because he had memorized that his brother was always negligent in anything if he was not reminded.

Wang Yibo ran towards the insect that was burning in the right corner. He stopped the young man's activities by hitting him from behind. The young man who did the action lost his balance, making him fall to the ground. Fortunately, Wang Yibo's kick did not cause the young man to fall into the flames. The young man turned his head towards Wang Yibo not long after he got up and looked at Wang Yibo with hostility.

"What do you guys want?" Wang Yibo asked in a cold tone.

The young man clenched his hands tightly and glared at Wang Yibo. Without waiting for a long time, the impromptu attack was aimed at Wen Gu; fortunately, Wen Gu was able to dodge.

"You guys are the ones making trouble with us! If your troops hadn't made such a mess, there probably wouldn't have been a scene!" The young man said it firmly.

Wang Yibo crossed his arms in front of his chest. "No swordsman intentionally made a scene; it was all a misunderstanding! We admit that we..."

"Don't apologize to him! No Wudang swordsman has done anything wrong!" Wen Gu said suddenly

Wen Gu's sudden words made the young insect demon's anger peak. He was just about to melt in Wang Yibo's hands because of his explanation. But unfortunately, Wen Gu messed up everything and made him angry again.

The young man stepped closer, and Wang Yibo and Wen Gu were already preparing to receive the attack given by the young insect demon. But in reality, the young man didn't do anything to them.

"You've been looking for trouble with the insect army, yet you still insist on clearing your name? Is a warrior like you worthy of respect?" He asked sternly.

"You..."

Sring.

Bugh...

"Look out for Wang Yibo!" the elder brother shouted loudly.

A large insect came toward them and spewed venom from its mouth. It almost hit Wang Yibo, but it was foiled by Wen Gu, who swiftly protected his younger brother from the attack. Not long after, the big insect turned into a young man with a sturdy body. He is Rong Long, the insect messenger of Tian Xie, an insect that is highly trusted by the queen to carry out her duties. Seeing the change, Wen Gu immediately launched an unplanned attack, and again, Wang Yibo was surprised by his brother's spontaneous action. The young man who was originally assigned the task of burning the temple also attacked Wang Yibo; the young man utilized his scratches in the fight this time. But Wang Yibo was still careful of him because he was afraid that the young man would spray his poison on him. The battle was getting more and more heated—not only the battle of strength but also their abilities.

He is an insect demon, so he can move here and there as he pleases without feeling hindered. While Wang Yibo himself can only compensate according to his skills, all he can do now is exert his inner strength from a distance because the young man is standing on the flames without burning at all. The action had made Wang Yibo feel amazed, but again, no matter how great the young man displayed his skills, he was still an enemy to all his troops.

"Insect demon, did you come here just for revenge?" Asked Wang Yino in between fights.

The young man furrowed his forehead. "What do you mean, young man?" He asked.

"Do you want to usurp our martial arts knowledge?" He asked directly, without preamble.

The young man smiled wryly at Wang Yibo's question. "Hahahaha! Are you crazy for knowledge? I am a great insect; our strength is far greater than yours!"

"Show me your great power!"

"I want to know how strong you are! Do you confidently think that our troops will steal your knowledge? Tsk! Scum swordsman!"

"Watch what you say!"
