Chapter 05

His memories began flashing through my head.

I held my tears in as they filled my eyes.

"My son just passed away and you're talking about burial really Marcus." I said tearfully.

"I'm sorry, Alpha, but believe me, soaking up won't change anything okay, You must stay strong and be a strong Alpha that you are, like your father was." Marcus replied.

"Don't you dare tell me to be like my father. He was a heartless human being… I despise him." I said as I stood up from the floor and Left the place heading to Celne's parents house where I was sure she was at.

I got to the gates and what I saw shocked me.

There were mating decorations all over the place and Celine was the one getting married.

The guards tried to stop me but I managed to get in. I went to where the main event was taking place and heard Celine saying "I do."

In an unexpected way I jammed my hand going towards the alter saying;

"It's been just two days since we got divorced and you are already married to someone else, how Splendid! Celine. Your son was admitted to the hospital, you knew but you never came to see him, until he died!" I shouted in pain.

"You never even asked how your son is doing? what kind of a mother are you!?" I added as I walked towards where she stood surprised.

I stared at her in disbelief as angry tears rolled down my eyes.

"Pow!" I gave her a hard slap, one you could hear even from miles away.

"How dare you!" Celine's husband says coming at me like a fierce lion.

He took me by the shirt quickly.

"Now listen here you fool, I don't care what you have with my wife in the past but if anyone lays their filthy hands on my mate!... I won't spare that person." He threw a fist punch at me which almost made me kiss the ground.

He was strong for an angry werewolf.

But he just met his worst nightmare.

A Lycan Alpha.

I retaliated by giving him a mitre punch on his left jaw, then his chin… Which literally gave him huge bump on his face, beating him like a beasts.

Once I was satisfied…I wrestled for about ten seconds till the securities came in, trying to drag me away, and as they continued to drag me off...Celine spoke up saying;

"Why have you come to spoil my mating ceremony!?" She asked with angry tears.

"Our son is dead Celine! And it's all because of you… You killed him!" I said yelling loudly at her.

"Our son died a long time ago… Mason was just a replacement." Celine said in silent tears of no remorse.

"What are you saying?" I asked her in confusion.

"Our son died a few minutes after his birth so I paid the doctors and nurses to keep their mouths shut and yeah my money does wonders! They got me another male infant Edward, our son is long dead!" She blasted back at me.

"We have absolutely nothing connecting us."

"What!" I said loudly in shock.

"I knew how happy you were about the baby's arrival. But now?" Celine said like it's a question.

"My biological son is dead… Common Celine! How could you… So my son has been dead for thirteen years and you wanted to hide it from me forever!?... You're a witch!" I said.

"Guards! take this pauper of a wolf out of my house before he spoils the air with his poor dirty wolf smell!" Celine said, staring at me.

"How wicked can you be Celine? How could you!" I asked her as I tried fighting off the guards but then I finally allowed them to take me out of the house. As they released me, I sat on the floor seeing a fancy car pulled up almost immediately in front of me and Marcus came out.

"Alpha Edward what are you doing on the ground? you're too precious to sit on the ground. Get and come with me." Marcus said as he helped me get up, then he took me into the car and we drove off to my father's house. Everything has really changed. Each step I took gave me goosebumps. The guards kept bowing to me like some god.

I guess they already know I'm their new Alpha and after all I'm now the richest Alpha in existence who owns five biggest companies in the world too.

The thought of it sounds rather exciting but thinking about my father changes everything.

"Son..Is that you!? Oh ... Edward, my son!" My mother said emotionally.

"Mom! I have really missed you." I said to her, giving her a tight hug.

"Shush..my boy I knew that one day you'd come back to us." The Luna said.

We went into an emotional moment and after some time I was shown to my room to freshen up.

I couldn't stop thinking of the horrible secret Celine had revealed.

I had lost my two sons all because of her!

I couldn't even see Mason's corpse because I don't know if I could ever forgive myself for letting him die.

"How do you like your bedroom Alpha?" Marcus asked.

"Its massiveness seemed new to me. I had almost forgotten I used to live a luxurious lifestyle now I have to get used to it again. If only my son Mason was still alive I would have given him the world." I responded to Marcus.

"About Mason, I got him buried in the garden. You would really love the spot, you loved to play there when you were a child.I know I didn't ask you first but I'm sorry Alpha." He said.

"It's okay Macus, you did the right thing." I replied.

Before you go see him, here's a letter written by your late father.

"He wanted you to read it." Marcus said.

I opened the letter wondering what my father would want to say to me.

His words made me shed tears.

"You see Alpha, your father never treated you the way he did because of his selfish ego but because he was scared and wanted the best for you." Marcus said.

"I have forgiven my father and left for the garden. There I saw Mason's spot beautifully decorated.

"I hope you love our new home?"

"I am sorry for the wrong I did to you, although you might not be my biological son but I took you as my son and In my heart… You are my only son. I won't spare them for everything they have done to us; they will all suffer for it." I swore to him.

"Not in tears, Alpha, you need to think calmly and smartly draft out your plan wisely." Macus said.

"You're right Macus I shouldn't rush." I replied.

I'd deal with them like a Lycan sturborn Goat!
