After ten minutes had passed, Amanda returned to her room, looking anxious.

"Sir, what can I do for you?" she asked with concern.

Sebastian looked at Amanda seriously. "Amanda, I want you to understand that although I feel Valerie is a competent candidate, there is something she is hiding from us. I'm not sure what it is, but I feel the need to remain vigilant."

Amanda nodded her head. "I understand, sir. What do you want to do?"

Sebastian replied, "I want you to monitor her movements while she is in town and working for our company. Try to gain further insight into what she is hiding, but do so carefully and without unduly violating her privacy. The safety and operational continuity of this company is paramount."

Amanda took notes. "I will endeavor to conduct careful surveillance, sir. We will make sure that everything continues to run smoothly."

Sebastian nodded his head in agreement. "Thank you, Amanda. We must protect this company from potential risks."
