The Ultimate Revenge

"Mister, is it true that your company just canceled the cooperation agreement with the Anderson Group?"

Right after Julia finished her sentence, Sebastian laughed dryly. It just sounded like he was mocking her.

"Ms. Brown, you need to know that Skyzone Company never signed the cooperation proposal with the Anderson Group, so you can't say we canceled it; actually, we rejected it."

Julia says, "Skyzone Company and Anderson Group had so many meetings to discuss this big project, so we thought you would sign it with 100% possibility."

Sebastian chuckled again. "Are you sure we ever said that? Without any evidence or affidavit, you cannot inquire about our decision. If you are pleased with this answer, please leave the room."

Julia's body went limp at Sebastian's statement. She felt that Sebastian would never change his decision. On the other hand, the Anderson Group could not take the case to court because they had no evidence or witnesses.

Julia had lost all hope. She felt there was no way to save her engagement to Darvis. Her mother would never approve the engagement if Darvis did not get the contract with Skyzone Company.

Thinking there was nothing more she could do, Julia asked Sebastian one last question:

"Mister, can you show me your face and your name? At least before I leave, I want to know who is the leader behind Skyzone Company."

"All right, Julia. Do you want to see who is the big man behind Skyzone Company? Well then, I will grant you your wish."

He turned his stool with a steady motion, looking directly at Julia. His handsome and charismatic face was revealed, revealing his hidden identity.

Julia was startled and rooted to the spot. Her eyes watched Sebastian's face with admiration and deep regret. Her heart was in turmoil, remembering the bitter and heartbreaking past.

Sebastian saw Julia's face shift. Behind the satisfaction, there was an unspoken disappointment. However, he chose to remain calm and looked at Julia coldly.

"You," Julia whispered apologetically. "You're Sebastian Cole, my ex-fiancé! How did you become CEO of a number one company in this city?"

Sebastian smiled sarcastically. "Oh, so ironic. How do you feel now, Julia? Your perfect life is ruined just because of this cooperation proposal."

Julia tried to control her overwhelming emotions. She felt an indescribable weight of regret in her chest. As she looked at Sebastian, she realized how careless she had been by divorcing him unilaterally. She had never imagined that Sebastian would become such an influential person and hold such a powerful position.

"Now you know who you're dealing with, Julia," Sebastian said sharply. "Go away. There's nothing more you can do here."

Julia felt as if she had been struck with a deep sense of remorse. She looked into the face of Sebastian, her ex-fiancé, who was now the CEO of Skyzone Company. Her life which felt ruined was the result of her rash and careless decision.

Julia tried to control herself and found the courage to speak, "Sebastian, I... I'm sorry for what happened between us. I know I've made a big mistake by forcing this meeting and by unilaterally divorcing you in the first place. But please, give me a chance to make things right."

Sebastian looked at her skeptically. "You know, Julia, I have power and control over the fate of this company now. I can give you everything you want, but not the easy way. You'll have to pay the price for your actions first."

Julia nodded, trying not to show her fear of Sebastian. "I'm willing to pay whatever you ask. I will do whatever it takes to right this past wrong."

Sebastian smiled sarcastically, enjoying his current position. "All right, Julia. I'll give you a chance. You can be my assistant, but on the condition that you leave Darvis Anderson and his family behind."

Julia was shocked by the demand. Leaving Darvis, her fiancé who was currently the only way out to save her future? She felt caught in a trap.

"She was the best decision I ever made, Sebastian. He loves me and his family accepts me sincerely," Julia said in a pleading tone.

"Of course, your other best decision was to divorce me without giving me a chance to talk," Sebastian replied coldly.

Julia bowed her head deeply. Her guilt towards Sebastian was too great. She obeyed whatever her mother said even though it would only bring her ruin.

Julia felt this was the right time to try to stand on her own feet and stop depending on others.

"I am willing to work under you, Sebastian. I will also leave Darvis as you wish," Julia said with trembling lips.

"Good. Very good, Julia!" Sebastian laughed at the sight of three times more GP than usual. "And remember to address me as 'Master'. I am no longer your friend, I am your master and you are my assistant. Don't expect more than that."

Julia could sense Sebastian's seriousness, so she nodded her head and said, "Very well, Master. I will obey whatever you say."

Then Sebastian asked Julia to go home and pack the things she wanted to take with her.

Julia had to stay at Sebastian's house so that she could serve him whenever she wanted.

Sebastian also explained to Julia that she would be working with Rose, one of his assistants, who was also beautiful and skilled.

There was a slight feeling of disappointment in Julia's heart when she learned that Sebastian had taken another woman before her, but she realized that she couldn't help herself.

After Julia leaves his office, Sebastian calls Amanda.

"How are you doing with Darius Wong? Has he responded to your message yet?"

Amanda nodded quickly and emphatically. "It's a little hard to believe, sir, but Darius Wong responded to the email I sent him in just fifteen minutes."

Sebastian smiled with satisfaction. "So, what did he say?"

"He said he wants to learn more about the great project we are offering him before he makes a final decision. He also hopes to meet you soon."

Sebastian nodded his head. "Tell him to meet me at the restaurant at seven."

Amanda frowned. "What is the name of the restaurant, sir?"

"You don't have to tell him. He'll understand."
