The Club

“Are you blind?” Garnet yelled in anger as she looked down at her sequin dress which was now dripping with the contents of the cocktail glasses she had been holding before looking up angrily at the no doubt drunken fool who had walked into her and still had the nerve to cuss.

She usually kept away from places like this because it almost always turned bad for her, she had thought it would be different because this was Andrea Glen’s party but it was just as tacky and rowdy as any other club and she badly regretted coming.

Her eyes widened when she saw the man who was standing before her and staring her down, his shirt sporting a map of some country where she had spilled her drink on him and she gulped wondering what kind of bad luck she had.

She stood uncomfortably as she wondered how she would deal with the situation but before either of them could say a word a head peeked out from behind him and Garnet’s shock turned to disdain.
