As soon as the words left Mark’s mouth, he was left aghast, as though he had never expected to utter such words.

Literally, Mark was the one who had spoken, but it wasn’t out of his will, it was the arrogance of the high medical skill now present in his head that influenced and subconsciously let the words out of his mouth.

After a moment of stupefaction, Mark’s face slowly returned to normal, since the question he just asked was nothing but the right thing to inquire.

It was as though he had just spoken the most reasonable thing on earth.

Nevertheless, nobody would react for a moment after he had spoken, and then very slowly, with a great shock, every head turned in Mark’s direction.

Seeing that it was him, they gasped in astonishment.

“It’s this beggar again,” someone mumbled, then before the old man, bodyguards, or the jade beauty could speak, they brought it upon themselves to act, trying to make the Jackson family owe them a favor.
