The Pervert Mage: First Peek

CHAPTER 11

"So, can you go from the start?" Abraham asked as he really is confused on what is happening.

The elder then told him that the hunters of their village found him lying on the forest floor and was unconscious. He was also covered with bruises and wounds, so, the hunters brought him in to treat him even though he was a total stranger that might be a bad guy.

"Thank you, for saving my life. But I can assure you, that I mean no harm. I am just confused, that's all." Abraham says.

But the true question is, how the hell did he get here? The 7th and 2nd kingdoms are so far away. That it would take 5 days to reach each other. And yet, he is here.

"We don't know. But because it has been quite wild lately, there is nothing much surprises us. Especially after the apocalypse." Det sighed.

It turns out that their kingdom has also been attacked by a wave of monsters and then demons. And it actually happened all over the world. The 10 kingdoms have been attacked, and communication between the kingdoms has been severed. Which means that the last new they got from the other was that they were also attacked. The mysterious attack has devastated the entire world, but still, a lot of people survived. But still, it is also still a mystery on why that attack happened. Demons going out of their own realm is just absurd. Because after the death of the Demon King, the demons have stayed in their realm for nearly a century, and yet, they are here, attacked the kingdoms for unknown reasons. Something is up, Abraham needs to find what is happening. However, the most important thing is for him to get back to the 7th kingdom and just go home first, because he has been here for 2 weeks it turns out, so, they might be worrying about him.

"It might be selfish of me and taking an advantage of your kindness. But can I have some food and water so I can go on a journey to get back to my family?" Abraham asked.

The people around him and the elder just looked at him with disappointment in their eyes. At first, Abraham thought that he just pissed them off, but then, the elder invited Abraham to tag along as he has something to show to him. The elder then brought Abraham at the edge of a cliff on the mountain that they are living, and he suddenly pointed his finger forward. Abraham looked as he then saw this red veil that was surrounding the entire kingdom. It doesn't affect the flow of sun light or the air, but, the veil was so visible.

"That, young one, is the one that prevents anyone from leaving. It is also the cause of the loss of communication between kingdoms. A magical barrier that appeared, a day after the apocalypse. Touch it, and you will be cursed. It was probably performed by a powerful mage. So, as of now, there are no way out of this kingdom." Says the elder.

Abraham fell in despair as he thought that he might not get to see his family again. However, because he won't just give up on this, he still then insisted on leaving to go become an adventurer at this kingdom to get some answers. Being an adventurer might be the only way for him to find something that would let him go back to his family. But it would take a while though, he needs to rise ranks in order to gain more exclusive information. He also needs to be more influential and all. Being an adventurer comes first right now, because if he falters, he will not meet his parents again for sure. It would take maybe years to do it, but yes, he will be pursuing that goal from now on. They went back to the village since it is almost nighttime. The people gathered around the large bonfire as everyone shared their food to one another. There were singing, dancing, and laughing everywhere. And for Abraham, he was having a blast seeing women with big boobs that he is having a hard time focusing on eating the chunk of meat he has. As the night gets deep and the singing gets louder since alcohol has been served, someone then arrived.

"HAHAHAHA! I see that you are all as energetic as ever, eh?!" shouted a man's voice.

The people cheered as this man, a tall, buffed, and handsome one arrived. He has a bulky figure, and he was carrying a spear on his shoulder. He was grinning madly as people welcomed him. His blonde hair was tied back, as he walks confidently through the crowd,

"Elder Det! And you are?" the man asked as his eyes narrowed down at Abraham.

The elder stood up as he then introduced the two to each other,

"Mister Warlock, this is Edward Newton. He is currently an adventurer, he may be intimidating, but he has muscles for brain,"

"Hey!" yelled Edward as the people laughed,

"And Edward, this is Abraham Warlock. He suddenly appeared here in the 10th kingdom for some mysterious reason. So, he stayed here and is leaving tomorrow to tryout for the guild." Det followed.

"So, you want to become an adventurer, huh?" Edward's expression then changed as he looked into the mana capacity of this runt.

This is when he realized that this kid has more mana than him, not to mention that weird black sword.

Edward then burst in laughter,

"Okay! I will help you get in the guild. In one condition!"

"What is it? If it's money, then I have none—"

"I want you to be my master!" Edward bellowed.

The whole village knew Edward was a complete meathead, but they never expected him to be so stupid to ask a total stranger to be his master. But to Det, this is something that Edward really thought about. Because Det himself have saw the capacity of mana this boy has, and it is no joke. But still, Det knows the inexperience trait of this kid, but if this kid has truly fought demons and annihilated his own town in the process, this kid is truly terrifying.

"Master? W-Wait a minute. I can't be your master as I am a total novice. And I don't have any experience in battle except for the recent one!" Abraham argued.

"Don't worry, master! I will accompany you until you become the most powerful mage out there!" Edward then let out a proud laugh.

And this is when Abraham just gained an underling without his actual consent. But he is still lucky, as he has someone who know the guild better than he does. And he will go and join the guild tomorrow immediately.
