The fight began with Abraham already cornered because of the venom. He can’t move freely, because the numbness of his body is preventing him to do what he likes. He can’t even conjure spells which is needed by this point. In other words, Angel is dominating this fight, and Abraham can’t do anything about it since he has only been handling puny bandits this far and has not been able to fight a strong opponent like Angel.
