The following morning, Ainslie meticulously prepared to embark on her new professional journey at the company, accompanied by Dulgad. As the sun spilled its golden hues across the landscape, they sat at the dining table for a family breakfast before Ainslie's departure.

Amidst the clinking of utensils, Mark, Ainslie's father, directed a pointed question at Bryson, feeling frustrated over his laid-back attitude. "Bryson, do you want to keep on eating under my roof without working?"

Bryson, unfazed, wiped off his mouth with a napkin and replied nonchalantly, "No. But what are you trying to say, father-in-law?"

"Don't act dumb in front of me; you know well what I'm talking about. Won't you get a job?!" Mark's tone carried a mixture of frustration and concern.

Bryson chuckled, noticing Mark's furrowed brow. "Oh, I see someone is burdened with a useless son-in-law. And I think someone is happy that I finally don't have a job," he added, shifting his gaze to Rose, his mother-in-law.
