Chapter 112

Vickie couldn't stand the message Maxwell had just given her. After he left, she hurriedly got a change of clothes and headed to John's guest house. When she got outside her apartment, she flagged a taxi and hopped in. Her entire body shook vehemently as she approached the venue. She hoped it was just some sort of Photoshop, but if it was real, then she was in really big trouble.

John's father is the governor, and he would fish her out as one of the culprits for his son's misfortune.

She panicked and bit her lower lip in regret. But it's too late for all that show of remorse. For the years she spent with Maxwell, she knows he doesn't go back on his words. And if he had shown her what he had done, then that was it.
