The night of the party had smoothly arrived.

Grandpa and everyone else were set except for Maxwell, who had a little bit of cold feet just a few hours before the party.

“I would climb a podium.” Maxwell asked as a sudden wave of heat spread over his body. Addressing a crowd was something he had always tried to run away from all the times he was in school. He never really did well at it, and he wondered why it was so with him.
