"What is he talking about?" Maxwell asked but Athena waved his question away.

" I need some fresh air" she announced and began walking out. Maxwell followed and in what seemed like five minutes the duo walked back into the hall.

Veronica’s face immediately turned dark as Athena and Maxwell approached the table where she was sitting. The table was originally reserved for the Farmont family, but Grandma and her two sons were busy greeting and chatting with the guests who had just arrived.
