chapter 2

Ivan turned towards the sound, the man was stunned to see a beautiful woman in office clothes sitting on the floor.

Mira hit her child lightly and immediately helped the beautiful woman to stand up.

"I'm sorry, Miss, you're okay, right?" Mira asked while supporting the woman.

The woman smiled. "I'm fine, ma'am, just a little surprised," he said as he stood up.

"Silvia... you are Silvia, right?" Ivan asked suddenly in a low voice while confirming the beautiful woman's face.

The woman frowned when she heard Ivan calling her name, she looked at the man closely. Her eyes widened when she remembered Ivan's face.

"Gosh... Ivan!" exclaimed Silvia, who without hesitation immediately hugged the man.

Mira was surprised that her son knew this beautiful woman, and Silvia immediately hugged Ivan, making the middle-aged woman a little confused by this incident.

Ivan was silent when he found Silvia hugging him, this was the first time he had been hugged by a woman, what's more, the one who was hugging him was the most beautiful woman in his class when he was in middle school.

"Where have you been Ivan? I went to the high school you said, but you weren't there," said Silvia as she let go of his hug.

"Ivan, do you know him?" asked Mira, reprimanding the child softly.

"Eh... he was in my class, ma'am, when we were in middle school," answered the man, immediately standing next to his mother.

Mira looked at Ivan's mother, the woman bent slightly and smiled. "Nice to meet you Auntie, I'm Silvia Veronica Adama."

Mira smiled, she hit the child's shoulder lightly. "You don't introduce this beautiful acquaintance to Mom!"

"Mom, it's not like that..." Ivan looked confused about explaining it.

Silvi smiled faintly, seeing Ivan's awkward attitude, she was reminded of the past, where the man always avoided her. Even if you're invited to chat, it's only if no one wants to talk and that's also very clumsy.

"You guys shopping?" Silvia asked softly.

"N-No, we're just hanging out here," Ivan answered nervously, "Then we'll say goodbye Silvia."

Ivan immediately pulled his mother's hand away from that place. Silvia immediately went after Ivan and his mother.

"Can I have your cell phone number, Ivan?" Silvia asked while holding out her cellphone.

Ivan glanced at his mother, the man was hesitant to give his cell phone number. However, the mother gave a code to give Silvia her number.

Like it or not, Ivan wrote his number on Silvia's cell phone, he immediately excused himself and took his mother away from Silvia's presence.

"Who is Silvia?" scolded Viona, Silvia's friend who was her assistant.

Silvia smiled faintly, watching Ivan and his mother leave. "My prince ...."

"Gosh, don't tell me he's the man you've been looking for?" Viona asked to confirm.

"According to you?" Silvia asked back as she walked out of the mall.

Viona rushed to catch up with Silvia who was already walking ahead carrying Silvia's shopping. He frowned when he saw Silvia smiling to herself while looking at her cellphone screen.

"It's true what people say, love is blind," muttered Viona with a sigh.

The two beautiful girls left the mall and headed to the office.

Not only is Silvia beautiful, she also has above average intelligence, so that at the age of only twenty-six years, she has been appointed as CEO of her father's company.

Silvia is the only child of Sebastian Adama. This woman is classified as living a life of complete sufficiency, whatever she wants, her father will give it, in contrast to Ivan's life.

Ivan already knew that Silvia was the daughter of a rich man, that's why he had always avoided this woman, realizing that he was not comparable to Silvia.

Ivan and his mother were eating at a small roadside shop. Ivan saw that they were both enjoying food and Ivan seemed to be avoiding his mother's questions.

Mira smiled seeing her son eating so heartily. "Don't ignore Mom, who is he?" asked the middle-aged woman probingly.

Cough... cough....

Ivan choked on his food, his mother rushed to get him water. "Be careful, I'm just asking, is it wrong?"

Ivan drank the water that his mother gave him, he put it down then sighed. "Don't talk about that, ma'am, he's a rich kid, I'm afraid to be friends with him," he answered helplessly.

"Why? Is it wrong to be friends with rich people's kids?" asked the mother gently.

Ivan sighed. "Never mind, Mom... come on, let's eat, don't talk about him anymore."

Mira just smiled at the child's strange behavior. She was very sure that Ivan liked Silvia, as seen from his very nervous attitude when talking about her.

"Don't suppress your feelings, if you like just say it, it's better to get a reply, even if it hurts so you don't regret it later," said Mira while eating.

Ivan just smiled and continued eating. The man didn't speak any more so that his mother wouldn't tease him about Silvia, which he had tried to forget.

After finishing eating, they returned to their house on the outskirts of Aranca.

Ivan took his mother to the room so that she could rest after the long journey. Meanwhile, he also returned to his room to rest before going to work tonight.

"Why did you appear again?" he muttered softly in monologue, "You are still as beautiful as ever, Silvia."

Ivan remembers an incident when he was still in junior high school, where Silvia always approached him for no reason. The man smiled to himself remembering this, before he finally realized.

"No, no, no, what are you thinking Ivan, he's not at your level, wake up stupid!" Ivan grumbled, shaking his head.

Ivan took a deep breath, he lay down on his old bed, staring at the ceiling. The man tried hard not to remember Silvia again.

In the afternoon....

"Mom, Ivan is leaving first!" shouted the man while putting on his shoes in front of the door.

"Go straight home when you've finished work, don't stop anywhere," said the mother, approaching her child.

Ivan stood up and smiled. "Yes ma'am...," he said softly as he kissed his mother's hand and left the house.

Mira smiled back seeing that her child was so devoted to her. Ivan always makes the middle-aged woman have more motivation to survive.

Because Ivan wasn't working odd jobs today, the man went to the shop casually. Greeting people he knew along the way while showing his charming smile.

After walking ten minutes, the man arrived at the shop where he worked. He immediately entered with enthusiasm.

"Are you here early, Ivan?" asked Hull, the tavern owner.

"Hehehe... today I'm relaxing, so I can come early, Uncle," answered the man with a chuckle.

Hul smiled. "Okay, you change clothes and go straight to help us."

"Yes Boss!" Ivan answered firmly, rushing to change clothes.

Hull shook his head at how eager Ivan was to work.

At the same time as Ivan changed clothes, a group of office people entered the shop.

"Are you sure the food here is delicious Silvia?" asked Viona, looking down at the shop where Ivan worked.

"Don't look at the appearance, you will definitely like the food here," answered Silvia with a smile.

"Just what the boss said," said Viona with a smile.

Silvia smiled back, she immediately ordered. "Uncle, give us your best food and of course give us beer too."

"Okay Miss, please sit over there," replied Hull kindly, pointing to an empty table in that place.

Silvia is indeed reviewing a hotel construction project in the area. He often treated his subordinates when he was visiting locations and Silvia happened to remember the shop when he still lived on the outskirts of the city of Aranca, that's why he invited his subordinates to eat there.
