Riko and Edward were still battling it, both demons seemingly unfazed by the situation. They even showed each other their strength, even though all that would only lead to a stronger enmity. The relationship that had not been good ate more complicated because of all this.

Christy and Vino finally left the place because Christy realized that one of the snake demons seemed to be protecting them and giving them a way to go to the site.

"Haven't you given up yet?" Edward snapped. He saw a wound on Riko's body from what she had done earlier.

"Even if I'm going to die right now, I won't just give up. You have created and disrupted the lives of those innocent humans. You have no heart at all."

Edward was getting angrier with every word that Riko said. He then increased his strength to attack Riko. He gathered all his emotions, as seen from the outburst of power directed at his brother.
