Chapter 74

A blue portal appeared in a ruined palace. A man came out of the portal.

Morwen was immediately presented with dark memories of visiting the ruined palace. The war twenty-two years ago was still fresh in his mind.

"I didn't expect me to sacrifice my life to protect the child of Draco and Laerra's affair." King Morwen murmured sadly. Even though his wife was dead, the betrayal still hurt because he had already loved that woman.

The regret and guilt that had haunted King Morwen, turned into hatred. However, he tried not to drift into that hatred so as not to destroy everything he had built.

Morwen was in Queen Laerra's room, where his wife died. He approached the bed that still bore traces of her blood. She caressed it with teary eyes.

"I am so disappointed in you." Morwen said softly. "Why didn't you tell me about Riko, your son and Draco? You had the heart to deceive me into protecting your son."

Silence. No one answered.

Morwen immediately wiped her tears after remembering her origin
