Chapter 5

Samuel was silent for a few seconds. Should he accept it? He desperately needed money to keep his marriage going, and he remembered that no one wanted to give him a loan. 

This time, he looked at Justin. The man was very earnest. He even thrust the black card back into Samuel's lap. "Accept this. It will help you."

This was completely unexpected. After getting so many rejections from everyone, he had found a way out this time. This was something like a miracle. 

Samuel, who was hesitant at first, decided to accept it. It was the only thing that would help him now. He looked at Justin sharply. "Is this really the money?"

Justin smiled and gave a slight nod. "You can check it yourself after receiving it. Take it. Because it's all for you."

"Okay." Samuel reached out and actually took it. He trembled slightly when he touched the black card.

"I have to go back soon." Samuel got up from his place. Just as he was about to walk out, Adam stood before him. 

The man bowed his body very politely. "Mr. Samuel, I will take you home." 

Samuel shook his head. "That's not necessary at all. I can go home by myself."

At this point, Justin stands up and taps Samuel on the shoulder. "Accept his kind offer.  It's good for you. You can get back quickly."

Samuel let out his breath. "Okay." They walked out immediately afterward. 

"Please, sir." The man opened the door for Samuel. 

Samuel nodded and got into the car. He still held the black card tightly and looked at it intently. "This card will really help me," he said.

He looked up at the man. "Where can I get the money?"

The man looked at the glass, smiling at Samuel. "Sir, you can pick it up at the big ATM at the center. I will take you there."

Samuel just nodded his head. After a while, the car stopped. The man behind the wheel spoke, "Sir, you can take the money there." 

Samuel entered the ATM hesitantly. As he inserted the black card, his hand trembled. He pressed the password button he had been given earlier. 

Before he withdrew the money from there, Samuel decided to look at the balance of the black card. His eyes immediately widened when he saw that there was 100,000,000 dollars. 

He was surprised to see that amount, considering Justin said this black card was his. He felt a throbbing in his chest. 

His trembling hand pressed the button again and took 2 million dollars. 

Sure enough, two million dollars was now in his grasp. He saw how much the two million dollars in his hand amounted to. 

After the success, he got back into the car. The man looked at Samuel and spoke, "Have you managed to withdraw the money, sir?"

Samuel sat up and nodded his head. "Yes, I got it."

"Tell Mr. Justin that I accept his offer." This time, Samuel said without hesitation. He had made the right decision, knowing that this would make a difference in his life. 

"Alright, I'll tell Mr. Justin. He'll be happy for sure." The man said with a smile. Afterward, he drove the vehicle back home. 

After arriving, Samuel exited the car and immediately entered his house. But Ella stopped his steps. She folded her arms and looked at Samuel with hatred. "Why are you back?"

"Mom, I want to come in." Samuel tried to pass his mother, but Ella's quick movement again blocked his steps. Here, too, was Darell getting in the way. 

"You can't come in at all. I know. You haven't even gotten the two million dollars yet. Leave and don't come back until you get the money!" Ella said firmly. Doubting Samuel would be able to get such a fantastic amount of money. She was sure that no one would help lend him the money. 

Samuel took out the money from inside his coat. The pile of cash was in Samuel's hand. "Mom, I've got the money."

Ella rounded her eyes. Staring at the pile of money with a twinkle in her eye. "You really got 2 million dollars!?"

Ella looked shocked and incredulous. Her hands even shook. For the first time, she was about to hold 2 million dollars. 

"Yes, take it." Samuel placed the money in Ella's hand. It almost fell and was quickly caught by Darell. 

"Mom, this is really a lot of money. We got it." Darell looked happy. 

Samuel ignored him. He rushed in and saw Fiona standing there. Fiona ran over and immediately hugged him. "Fiona, are you okay?"

She released the hug on Samuel's body, looked up, and spoke, "Yes, I'm fine. How about you?

"I'm fine." He smiled at Fiona. She glanced at her mother and sister-in-law, who were still happy with money. Then I looked back at Fiona and said, "I paid for what your mother wanted."

"What?" Fiona looked surprised at that. She stared at Samuel with a sharp gaze, looking at him doubtfully. "Are you serious?

"Where did you get the money, Samuel?" Fiona gave Samuel a probing look. Knowing that two million dollars was a lot of money. And he had returned so quickly. 

She felt strange. 

Samuel held both of her shoulders. "You take it easy. I got a loan from my friend. And from now on, I have to work with him."

Fiona watched Samuel with distrust and suspicion. This was quite strange. Who would lend 2 million dollars so easily?

Fiona exhaled. She searched Samuel's face and eyes. "Where are you going to work?"

There was fear in Fiona's heart. Worrying if someone would cheat Samuel and give him a bad job, a crime, or something else. 

Samuel was silent momentarily, trying to remember the name of the company he had read about earlier. "I'll be working at Medco.inc"

Fiona smiled. "Are you really going to work there?

"You know, tomorrow I have a big meeting there. We have to meet there tomorrow, Samuel." Fiona deliberately said that. 

Fiona silently looked at Samuel. Although he said it calmly, Fiona was sure there was something that was covered by him. 

Fiona knew he had never worked in an office, and she was sure Samuel was lying. Samuel only mentioned the name of a big company to make her believe.

Samuel nodded his head calmly. I want Fiona not to feel there is anything wrong. "Of course, I'll be there."

Samuel thought about having received Mr. Justin's offer and knowing that they had a lot of money. He thought that he would discuss this with Justin, and of course, they would easily handle it. 

Samuel looked at Fiona and held both her hands. "We'd better get some rest because we have work tomorrow."
