Her family

Alara was all dressed that morning. It was going to be a big day so she needed to be her very best.

She heaved in a deep sigh, then straightened her shoulders. She headed down the stairs to meet her weird little family.

Her mother, Tania, was making breakfast so she leaned forward to kiss her on her cheeks. “Hey mom, good morning.” She gave her a warm smile.

Her mother's face brightened. “Oh my darling, you look so beautiful.” She said.

“Thanks mom, that means a lot. I had literally put in so much work–” as she was saying, a slender petite lady with pony tail blonde hair walked in.

She eyed everyone and smirked. “Hey aunty, hey cuz, what's popping?” She said at last.

Ella was Alara’s annoying cousin, Esther's daughter, who was Tania’s sister. Ever since they were living with Alara, they'd been making life unbearable, but her mother refused to accept that fact.
