That evening, Mathew was waiting for someone. He had been feeling nervous ever since he was introduced to the man. But he had no choice now. It was a matter of survival.

Finally, someone walked over to him. “If you wish to see the young master Ezra now, follow me.” He said to him.

Mathew nodded. “Of course.” Then he followed the man.

When they were inside already, he was ordered to take his seat. Someone was seated beside him…someone he instantly recognized.

“Hi, aren't you Dustin's friend?? Tom! Alara had mentioned you before–” Mathew was still saying but was rudely cut off by Tom.

“Ex friend. That son of a bitch who won't help his friends is not my friend. He can never be my friend as a matter of fact.” He said.

“Well whatever. Just tell me you have good news and Dustin has found his ticket to the party already.” Ezra said rather calmly.

“You don't look too confident. Is it that you don't trust this detective here?” Tom asked.
