CHAPTER 69

The room was silent as what Jason said kept echoing in the air.

Jason stood tall, his face hard and expressionless, and his eyes were cold as ice. He picked up the knife on a food plate.

He held the knife in his hand like someone who is ready to use it without hesitating.

Its knife blade was glinting in the low light. His grip was firm, and there was no hesitation in his movements.

He looked straight ahead, ignoring any little sympathy he was having in his mind around; he's a beast, and he's not going to have sympathy for a human who see himself as a beast.
