Chapter 06

Calvin was heavily hurt to the core.

They turned him down when he needed them to save his child the most.

"I'd leave, don't you all worry... One day, you will all regret your actions." Calvin said as he walked out of their house before He turned back seeing Pete smiling as he looked at him wickedly and kind of achieved.

Pete and Sunil's Mum always wanted to ruin his marriage and now they feel so successful at last.

It had become all about ruining him.

They didn't even have mercy on sick little Austin... Who was dying.

His man guts just knew that their family weren't giving up easily and if they could let Austin die... Then he should be ready for his life to be taken away too if Calvin were in that kind of situation too.

He brought out his phone from his pocket and called the housekeeper.

"Housekeeper." He said as silence followed.

"Yes master Calvin, are you doing well?" The housekeeper asked back in return.

"You know what?..."

"You won... I could not get help from my wife's family and the worst has even happened." He said, trying to hold back tears.

"What happened?" He asked.

"My son is dying. I need you to send the cash to the hospital, so she can be taken care of." He said to him,

"How much is his hospital bill?" He asked me.

"Give them a million dollars... He doesn't want anything to happen to her..." He said before getting interrupted by him.

"Done, the money has been sent." The housekeeper said back to him.

"Thanks so much... Em...housekeeper?" He said to him without being able to recall his real name.

"Housekeeper is fine." He replies as Calvin got a cap driver to head to the hospital.

"So what are you insinuating?" Calvin asked..

"Whoever must have upset the young master and embarrassed him because of pennies should be punished." The housekeeper said back to him as he got into the cap, surprised.

"Punishment?" He said back to him.

"Yes! But young master, you must visit the ranch of your father and the company to head your rights as president of Monroeville incorporated."

"Alright, He accepted." He said to him,

"That will be splendid!" The housekeeper said it sounded old but it was still cute.

"Good Calvin! He am so happy to hear you say this, let us meet tomorrow at your fathers company so we can do the rest arrangements and get you announced as the CEO of your fathers company." He says trying to get him excited but doubts something is going to enlighten his mood right now.

"I hope my identity can still remain the same? Because I still want to see if I can get my family back together." Calvin asked.

"Sure, master Calvin, anything can be arranged as long as you sign the legal documents as willed by your father." The housekeeper replied.

"Alright then, see you tomorrow." He replied.

"Thanks young master Calvin." He replied and was about to leave as his phone began to ring..

"Hello doctor." He said, waiting for Austin's doctor's response.

"We have commenced Austin's treatment as we received a huge sum of one million dollars for his surgery but there's something we are unable to get." He said which fueled Calvin rage.

"What is it that money can't buy for you to save his son's life!?" He replied to him.

"He needs blood, sir, and since you're the father, you're the best donor that we can get as fast as possible." He says to him,

"I'd be on my way." He replied, cutting the call.

"Speed up to the general hospital!" He shouted tapping the driver's arm before exhaling out as a tear rolled off his eyes.

"Austin... Please Stay alive for Daddy." He prayed.

The cab driver stopped in front of the hospital. He paid him before rushing through the entrance stairs of the hospital.

The door automatically opened as He saw the doctor talking to someone before spotting him from the side.

"Please follow me." He said, leading him into a room where He was asked to sit down as some nurses came holding his arm.

"We are going to first test your blood so we can know if it's a perfect match for your son, okay?" The nurse said as they slowly started their preparations and soon had taken his blood as well.

"So do you want to know if your blood group matches with Austin's or should we do a wilder test." The doctor asked me.

"Do what's best!" He responded to him.

"Wilder test it is." He replies.

After some good minutes he came back into the room where He sat down.

"Mr Calvin, we are done with the blood test and it is rather strange as the results prove that you don't have a blood group that matches with Austin nor are you the biological father of the child." He said to him and his heart skipped a bit.

"What!? That's impossible!" He said back to him as He collected the results from him reading the papers.

"Why are there so many papers?" He asked.

"We couldn't believe it too so we ran the test multiple times to be really sure it wasn't a machine default but it turns out that the results are hundred percent true, so how about her mother?" The doctor asked him in trembling.

"Ahh!" He screamed as he sent the table closer to him flying shattered a glass window crying bitterly.

"How can I not be a father?"

"Why will my wife lie?"

"Why?" He said, crying out.

He pulled out his phone and immediately called Sunil, hoping she'd pick and she did.

"Well Sunil, you did well to lie about Austin being my child, our child but there's more, he's dying and he needs blood to survive, just be a good mother at least and donate your blood so the doctor can proceed with the surgery." He said in tears.

"I want to see my son." He said as he ran speedily to the room where he was as he held his hand crying bitterly.

"Austin!" Calvin screamed.

"My boy! please don't leave me!" Calvin yells.
