Leon woke up on a bed in a room he usually went to when his body ached. Yes, that place was a health room like a hospital because specifically in that school the health room was handled by a selected doctor.

"Are you awake?" The voice greeted him along with the appearance of her face that Leon saw.

A woman in a white doctor's coat approached him, examining Leon who was having difficulty getting up.

"Those crazy kids are really cruel. How many more times will they create chaos by playing with someone's life?" the female doctor grumbled after helping Leon sit on the bed.

Yes, that's it. Because Jono had too often seriously injured his students, the school, especially the boy's father and mother, took the initiative to build a small hospital in the school called the health room because by being handled by a specialist doctor, the victims would not need to be rushed to the hospital. After all, if they brought victims too often it would only attract attention.

Leon ignored the grumbling of the female doctor who occasionally winced. Leon's attention was diverted to the right and left where the health room bed was occupied. Yes, in a day Jono would send several people to be treated in the health room even though their injuries were not as severe as this time.

"Get some rest. You have to get better. I've given you some medicine," said the female doctor.

There was no response from Leon who just remained silent. The man's mind played back the previous incident.

The female doctor excused herself from the room because there was a meeting she had to attend. Leon could guess that the meeting was to cover up Jono's big mistake, like before.

Leon didn't care about that and chose to get out of the patient's bed and leave the health room. His feet walked slowly in the quiet school corridor. Holding on to the wall, who knows where his feet would go? Leon didn't care if the teachers would look for him later. What was on his mind now was finding peace.

Arriving at the roof of the school building, Leon looked at every building in front of him. The size of the school was almost like a stadium, all the facilities were complete.

"Back then, going to this school was a dream that I thought would make me happy," Leon said sadly. Remembering what the gang of rich kids had done.

He took a deep breath. The man was tired of going through his hard and suffering days. Living far from his family, restless even though he lived in a dormitory that had always guaranteed his comfort, because after all, since Leon had dealt with Jono, his whole life had been ruined, and Leon's plans had fallen apart.

"Just because I helped a friend, should the reward be more than that?" Leon said.

The reason why Leon became the target of the Elite Gang was because Leon saved his classmate who was being bullied by Jono and his friends. At first, Leon didn't care because he thought it was none of his business, but as time went by, Jono went too far. What was initially just a splash of water turned into a brutal blow. Leon couldn't hold himself back so he intervened, but because of that, Leon's body became the target of Jono and his friends' fists. Leon had no other choice or his scholarship would be canceled.

"To hell with that scholarship again," said Leon who was now standing on the side of the roof barrier that was as high as an adult's waist made of concrete.

The despair that came made Leon tired of his life, and after waking up from his fainting, Leon intended to end his life. That was why Leon was now on the roof of the school, intending to jump from the three-story building.

Before jumping, Leon looked around to say goodbye to the school that had once been his dream. The size of the school was almost like a stadium with complete facilities, and the comfort made the students feel at home there. Leon's eyes were closed, enjoying the breeze that hit his skin, soft even though it felt sore in some parts.

"Leon!"

A scream interrupted everything when someone called his name.

Opening his eyes again, Leon looked for the source of the voice.

"Leon!"

The voice sounded again as if he recognized it.

"What are you doing there?" The voice seemed panicked now.

Leon found the source of the voice, from below him. A woman Leon recognized as his music teacher.

"Come down. Don't jump," the woman said.

But Leon smiled instead.

"No. I can't. I just want to die." Leon answered desperately, even tears began to appear when he remembered how his music teacher had always been kind to him.

Miss Angela was one of the teachers who was quite close to Leon but she was the same as the other teachers who were unable to do anything to help Leon from Jono's brutality because if even one teacher came to help, Leon's life would be at stake.

One by one people gathered around Miss Angela, and their voices grew louder calling out to Leon so that the child would not act rashly.

Along with that, the sky suddenly clouded over and darkened quickly. Strong winds followed then loud rumblings were heard from the sky, and even lightning struck occasionally. The sudden change made people panic including Leon who also looked up at the sky.

"If you want to die, wouldn't it be better if you try another chance?"

Leon looked for the source of the voice and realized that behind him there were already several people trying to stop him but they seemed to be acting strangely, trying to protect themselves.

“Hey, Leon,” Someone approached Leon, extending his hand to help the person down.

The wind blew harder with a deafening roar. It seemed like a storm was coming.

“Get down,” the person said, still extending his hand towards Leon who remained silent, wondering whose voice it was. “Hey!” the person shouted.

Gio Austin, Leon’s deskmate, forced him to get down.

“Damn you, Le!” Gio was angry, protesting Leon’s actions. “If you die, who will I be with?” Gio continued in a loud voice.

While other people were panicking because of the storm-like weather change, Gio was crying because of Leon’s actions.

“If you want to die, at least invite me. You know you’re my only friend. Even though I couldn't stop that damn Jono, I don't want to lose, you idiot," said Gio who didn't even care about the panic of others and instead vented his anger on Leon who was silently watching him.

"What are you guys doing? Get down," said one of the men who was a gym teacher there.

Ignoring Gio's cries and the pain in his body, Leon pulled his friend's hand to get out of there following the adults who were increasingly entering the building and leaving the roof.

However, once down to the third floor, the corridor seemed crowded, students and teachers mingled there in panic with the weather getting darker.

"Since you didn't die, that means you get a second chance."

Leon's steps stopped when he heard that strange voice again, a voice that was similar to the voice of an AI or computer, not a human voice.

"What's wrong?" asked Gio when he realized Leon had stopped walking.

“Did you hear a sound?” Leon asked.

“What sound?” Gio asked back.

Before Leon could explain, a thunderous sound in the sky sounded so terrifying that it made the students scream and become even more noisy. Several times Leon even collided with the students with Gio who continued to hold his hand.

“Where are we going?” Leon asked, shouting a little.

Gio did not answer, only holding Leon's hand who was jostling with other students who filled the corridor following the teacher's instructions.

“Count down. Five, four, three, two, one.”

Right when one of the strange sounds that came from nowhere was said, the atmosphere suddenly became silent, there was no sound at all, not even movement. Strange. What happened?

Leon and Gio's steps stopped, silent and motionless and looked around, shocked to realize what had just happened.

“What? What happened?” Gio asked in panic seeing the people silent and motionless. “You guys!” Gio was shocked when he realized that only he and Leon were moving.

“What happened?” Leon also asked, not understanding.

"Hey?" Gio approached one of the students in front of him, touching the person gently but he didn't move at all or even glance at him.

Gio was now scared when he found the people silent and motionless. While Leon was digesting what had just happened.

"Is it because of that voice?" Leon thought.

Only Leon could hear and realize it, but why were only he and Gio moving? The boy looked confused and scared now standing near Leon.

"Let's go," Leon invited, grabbing Gio's hand carelessly.

"Where to?" Gio asked fearfully.

Leon didn't answer.

While continuing to avoid the people who suddenly became statues after the strange storm, it seemed that the entire school was not moving at all, only Leon and Gio were still moving freely. Even though they weren't moving, they were still alive.

On the first floor of the special building for the third senior class, they were surprised by someone who was also moving among the human statues, the surprise made Gio scream.

"You guys?" The bespectacled boy looked confused when he saw Gio and Leon. It seemed like the boy recognized Leon. "What happened?" the boy continued, increasingly confused.

"I don't know. We don't know either," Gio answered, catching his breath in surprise.

Leon stared at the boy, recognizing him a little.

"You're Sean, huh?" Leon guessed.

The boy blinked and then adjusted his glasses.

He was Sean Hoga, the nerd in Leon's class who was in a different class from him. Leon had crossed paths with Sean a few times and had also spoken to the boy a few times, only asking questions, and otherwise not being friendly at all.

"Nice to see you again," Leon said. "Let's go, we have to find something," he continued.

Sean just nodded and followed Leon and Gio's steps to the right.

Once again, only Leon noticed the strangeness there, but the boy just kept quiet and walked towards somewhere.
