“Are you happy now?” Nathan asked jokingly.

“Certainly,” Rose said, then got into the car. “See you later.”

Nathan stood in ecstasy for a while watching her drive off. She honked her horn twice for a final goodbye.

Nathan turned and headed back to Nicholas and Cayden.

“Congrats on having your girlfriend back.” Cayden said.

“It couldn’t have happened without the help of you guys,” Nathan said, gratefully.

“Somehow, I wish you had more time to suffer the consequences of your actions and maybe you’d have learnt a lesson.” Nicholas said.

“Look guys, if you look at what happened without sentiments you’d figure out that I didn't do anything that bad.” Nathan said. “I mean, all I did was visit Letha.”
