Chapter Thirty Seven

Vincent sat on the edge of his worn-out couch, his face illuminated by the glow of his phone's screen. With a sigh, he unlocked the device and swiped to open the messaging app. What he saw made his heart sink.

A flood of messages and memes greeted him, each one a bitter insult from his ex-girlfriend Nina.
